Description

Brigadeiro (bree-gah-day-ro) is a Brazilian delicacy present in practically all the major Brazilian celebrations specially on children’s birthday parties. In other countries the brigadeiro is known as the Brazilian truffle. This sweet joy is made from condensed milk, powdered chocolate, butter and covered in chocolate sprinkles. Today, this tiny and sweet joy has grown and has achieved gourmet status, that can be served at wedding parties and special occasions.

I love this café!! Their açaí bowls are to die for. My favorite is the mango!! They make a great espresso drinks as well and the environment is very cheerful and happy, it’s a great place to do work. I love the owner as well, she’s very sweet and always happy and friendly when I come in. A must stop !
I enjoyed the simplicity yet very beautiful & cozy feeling that got when I opened the door. I loved that there were two ways to read the menu. By hand or on the board. I loved seeing the pastry and sandwich options inside of the clean and clear case. Along with ice cold beverages to choose from. The decor says welcome and stay for a little while. The owner was present and was very friendly and knowledgeable but of course. I ordered a chicken sandwich and black coffee. Both a great choice and would love to have again. This was actually my second time eating here and suggested to a few of my friends. Sweet Joy Brazilian Cafe is very unique not just for it's great menu but the decor and vibe. Even the other customers. I'm excited to see what the summer menu may hold. This is definitely a great addition to the east side of Milwaukee. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options
I finally got to check out the newly opened Brazilian coffee shop on Brady Street. This is a welcome addition needed to keep Milwaukee's cultural diversity on the up and up. Everything pictured was very expertly baked and and as authentic as it's Brazilian owner, Marcia.

The chocolate cake was so delicious! The interior was also beautifully decorated with so many plants. Definitely will be coming back to try other things!
I love this place so much! Food and drinks are wonderful and the lady at the counter is great too. I've seen her clear out a line of people, taking orders and making drinks herself. I've tried a few things here, but my favorite was the cheese and guava pastry. I love having such a cozy spot to grab coffee and sit, and the fact that its a Brazillian cafe makes it even better because I can taste some great foods I've never tried before! I will be coming back for another cheese & guava pastry and will hopefully try the esfiha soon. I really enjoy visiting this cafe and hope it stays successful!
Morning special: coffee and cake for less than $6. The cake was carrot citrus, moist and yummy. Good spot to set up shop for a few hours, complete with WiFi and light-filled windows.
We stay in Airbnb close to the cafe and every day we had breakfast there and it was one of the best part of our day. Marcia the owner was so lovely with us and all menu was awesome. Highlight for the açaí bow, almond croissant and the coffee selection. I hope be back as soon possible
Was super excited to try this new cafe. I loved the makeover from the one that was there previously. Ordering was a breeze with all the options on the menu. My chai tea latte tasted like warm milk… my partners matcha came out hot when he asked for it iced. When asked to make it iced they were more than happy to switch it! But then they didn’t have lids for 12oz iced drinks…awkward and their was a hair in it We also ordered avocado toast but they were then out of avocados. So the lovely lady offered a smoothie instead. Which tasted like peanut butter and jelly
