History and Information:
Owner and founder, Julie Righetti, got involved in the food industry in 1989 when she was asked to be part of a join restaurant venture in California. While involved in this restaurant, she was coached by three fantastic chefs. Within a year, she was teaching soup classes and competing with local chefs in fundraising cook-offs.
Sweet Julep's was founded in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on March 15, 2003. We are a one-of-a-kind, independent company. Our favorite thing about the store is the customers. We love our nine years of repeat customers. It's great to see the eight and nine year old children that come into the store weekly that first visited us from the womb!
