Andrew Fischer, Owner/Operator of Sweet Lou is a barbeque enthusiast who has been competing in barbeque since 2012, participating in various KCBS (Kansas City Barbeque Society) contests and local events in the La Crosse and surrounding area. In 2016, Andy was fortunate enough to earn a spot to compete and represent Sweet Lou in The Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational in Lynchburg, TN.
In July of 2017, Sweet Lou Barbeque officially became a 26ft mobile food trailer offering tasty, slow-smoked meats. The pit is fired up daily and everything is made and served fresh, pulled and sliced to order.
Sweet Lou is operating in the Onalaska Menard's parking lot, across from their garden center, every Saturday & Sunday (unless announced otherwise). The season will generally run from April to November. Hours are typically 10:30am-2pm (or sell out). Dates, hours, locations of operation, and menu items may vary, so please keep an eye on our page and follow us to see what we are up to.
