Very quaint little Cafe. The decor is eclectic and super cute. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with local amenities. The food was very good. We ordered the pecan roll, croissant breakfast sandwich, and chicken stuff biscuits meal. The sandwiches come with a nice side of fresh fruit. The croissants are fresh, flaky, and buttery tasting. The eggs were perfect and the bacon was nice and crispy. The Chicken had an absolutely wonderful flavor. It was tender and battered in a nice crispy fried batter with a hint of sweetness. The biscuits are firm but not doughy, nice and flacky. They held up well even under the gravy. Speaking of the gravy, it was a perfect consistency with a nice mild flavor and not at all greasy. The pecan crusted cinnamon roll was hot and fresh even at 9am. It was moist but not doughy. We requested a little of the cream cheese frosting to go with it. Lastly, the coffee was very nice. Mild, not watery or too strong. My children and I enjoy the experience very much. We will visit again.
Easy walk from the neighborhood. Nice selection would tasty baked treats. Got the Navajo Taco and found it tasty needed some hot sauce, but I have that covered. Caramel Pecan Roll delicious! Charming homey aesthetic.
Went to Sweet Lou’s on our visit to Wyoming a few years back. Such nice owners, and delicious baked goods and Coffee is awesome! They had the best cinnamon rolls and rice crispy treats and they were the largest I had ever seen! Pricing was on point, you should definitely check out this little shop on your visit !
On our way to Mount Rushmoor we stopped in and had a bite for lunch. The Café is clean quaint and eclectic. The owner took great care of us. She offered us breakfast in addition to lunch. Green Chili Burger, Chicken Salad Croissant extra large Cinnamon Roll and Pecan Roll were delicious! Definitely would stop there again!
Great place to stop in and grab your morning cup of Joe! The food is great and the staff is welcoming. The dining area is clean, quaint, and roomy. During my visit I tried the breakfast sandwich and cinnamon rolls. They were delicious!
Visited Sweet lou's bakery on July 3rd from 7am-8:30am while traveling. Place was nice and very chic. Staff was friendly and greeted us warmly, however, there was a lot of flaws we saw. After being open for a about an hour, it was clear to us that staff was unfamiliar of the place and menu. The restaurant was poorly stocked for the day as they ran out of items such as orange juice early in the morning with only 2 previous customers. Off the bat, were served old coffee evident by the temperature and taste. When asked for a highchair for an infant, we were given a filthy booster chair that was still covered in crusty food. the chair was installed incorrectly. We wiped up the chair and installed it correctly ourselves. When ordering, we had to repeat our order 3 times giving suspicion that they did not know the menu. With only us in the restaurant to cook for, our food took over 30 mins to complete. We could overhear debate on where things were located in the restaurant and what was included for each dish. From the window we watched the cook and server, rearrange our food with their bare hands - without gloves, and proceed to talk and correct each other on what each dish needed. The kitchen soon enough filled up with smoke, and ventilation was not turn on, only after items started to burn. The whole place became very smoky. once we received our food, my husband was served raw Chicken Fried steak was brown on the outside, but completely raw in the inside, hash browns were overcooked, eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and french toast was overly doused in sugar. We still ate our food, however, it was evident that the cook and server did not know what they were doing.
Stopped today for an early lunch. The owner was very friendly, and the food tasted fresh and delicious. If we are ever passing through the area, we will definitely stop by again!
What a 'sweet' surprise to accidentally find Lou's Bakery and Cafe while passing through Torrington Wyoming! We ordered to go and wish we could have stayed. Chicken salad on a croissant pleasantly topped with tomato, cheese and asparagus! Special of the day jalapeños burger also delicious. But the baked goods! We tried 4 different items and all made on our long journey sweeter!
It was such a nice lunch for my first day back at work! The lady sorry, I don't know her name was so kind and warm! And the food was phenomenal. A chicken salad wrap, with a healthy portion of chips, and a buncha berries and grapes with some frosting. Aw yiss
The place is beautiful the wall decor is really eye catching and the salt shakers took my breath away they were so creative and the food is great I had a burrito not smothered with eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. All in all I love the food and the wall decor and the salt shakers it is an experience I'll never forget!!!
