Finally came by Sweet Magnolias after saying I would 3 years ago. I got half a sandwich and a bowl of soup, and was not disappointed. I got the Meatloaf sandwich, and a bowl of broccoli cheddar. The sandwich was amazing, and the soup was good but not out of this world my favorite is tomato but it was not there today. I would recommend anyone to come try a soup and salad. I will be back to try the others.
I’ve eaten here three times in the past two weeks. Each lunch I’ve had has been perfect! Today, I chose the tomato basil soup and it was exactly as warm and tasty as I knew it would be. Sweet Magnolia’s Cafe does not disappoint.
The Brie & apple grilled cheese on sourdough was so yummy. Got the Artisan salad which was delicious too.Recommended dishesSalads, Sandwich
Tasty, affordable, speedy lunch on the Square. Truly the best chicken salad on the planet. If you're more a salad kind of person, their pecan dressing is sweet and tangy perfection on a Cobb salad. Save room for dessert - great cookies, brownies and giant hello dolly's! We have been going about once a month for the last several months and the food and service is always great. Pro tip: Call in your order! It will be ready in 10 minutes and you can walk right up to the counter and grab it, skipping the big line that forms at lunch time!
This place has a cute an quaint ambience. I enjoyed the Carter Wrap but had it on Sourdough bread which was grilled to perfection. The Broccoli soup was delicious also. The food was fresh and just enough.
Incredibly friendly people and the food is always good. You can call in an order and they'll have it ready quickly; overall service is quick and welcoming, even in rush hour!Food: 5/5
Wow, delicious! Had the 1/2 & side. Grilled Chicken sandwich with brocc/raisins salad. Sandwich was so tasty and juicy nothing dry or tasteless about it. The brocc salad is cold, and hasa sweet taste to it. Oh so good! Everything A++, def coming back. Sorry about the puct i was almost done when i realized i didnt snap a pict. Lol. Def go here. Fast and clean. And very nice ppl.
My friend and I met here . She drove from Lawrenceville to be disappointed . I had the soup of the day. So blend and no taste at all. My friend food was horrible , blend and no taste. It was so expensive for horrible taste and food $20 each . I had the soup , a turkey sandwich and water . I am not sure why everyone raves about this place . It is so rushed too and I felt rushed and it stressed me out just to order my food . I thought well it will be worth it because the food will be amazingly good since it was so pricey too . Nope .
This review is for takeout. We picked up food at 1:30 pm on a Monday. It was pretty crowded and tables were not socially distanced. They don’t require masks for customers, but employees were wearing masks. They do encourage social distancing with spots marked on the floor for waiting in line. We got Rebecca’s Famous Chicken Salad Sandwich with Pasta Salad $8.49. The chicken salad was very good. The sour dough was perfectly buttered and toasted. The Pasta Salad was too drenched in Italian dressing. I wouldn’t get that again. We also got the Turkey Club with Egg Salad $8.49. The Turkey Club was fine. The Egg Salad was very mayonnaise-y, but it was nicely peppered. We would probably go with chips or just skip sides altogether if we were to go again. You get in line to order, then you’re given a number to wait. I was surprised that they still use the physical numbers, especially in Covid times. That was gross. The man who took our order, who I believe is the owner, was very nice and friendly. Overall, Covid precautions could definitely improved, but the food was good!
I met some family here for lunch Wednesday. I had tomato basil soup and half a pimento cheese sandwich. The soup was delicious, the pimento cheese was just ok. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. It wasn't terribly crowded, but it was kind of noisy anyway. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. I'd do lunch here again.
