I ordered a cake from Sweet Spot for my son's 5th birthday. This was the first time I've ordered a professional custom cake; I am not a cake person so was hesitant and skeptical about the whole ordeal. This bakery blew me away! They whole process was seamless, with clear instructions on the website and a quick response. The baker patiently talked through what we wanted and provided good suggestions. The cake was absolutely perfect and our party guests raved about how delicious it was! Couldn't be happier with my experience.
Chicken pies folks .... chicken pies. Went in to pick up the birthday cake for my daughter cake looks beautiful but haven't tried it yet. Had no idea they sold savory pies. It's AMAZING ! Never had chicken pot pie with mashed potato as the base. It's super filling and super delicious. My family has a new week night dinner rotation now.

Found Sweet Spot on Google review and saw a lot of photos of cakes that I liked. I wanted something not too crazy but not too simple and it worked out well. Prices was very reasonable at first but then we got the cakes and it looked amazing. Exactly what we wanted. Then we had it and it was delicious. My son enjoyed his smash cake and it was simple but went with his theme. The main cake I just want a white cake with Mikey’s face. Nothing crazy. Just simple but not too basic. I’m a simple person. I’ve seen a lot of other cakes on their site but I don’t need anything crazy. I will be returning next event. Also, the staff was great and friendly. No issues there. Gave me exactly what I wanted. They did call me to make sure the name was correct since it’s spelled one letter different.
The ladies who helped me here was so kind, helpful, and we're more than willing to make the designs I wanted on my baby's birthday cupcakes. They looked amazing, and tasted delicious. They even were able to accommodate a couple gluten free orders as well for my friends. I loved their work ethic and kindness, and hope to use their services again!!
The bday cake in September was delish and the selection of cupcakes is awesome ! Going back today for another bday and more cupcakes! Super clean store and great customer service ! Thank you !
We used the sweet spot for our small backyard wedding this August and they truly knocked it out of the park. I sent in an inspiration picture and they made it exactly like the photo a florist added the flowers after delivery. We did a lemon buttercream cake- it was so delicious, we almost finished the entire cake that night! The sweet spot staff members were so kind, easy to work with, and delivered the cake the morning of with no issues. This cake was amazing. They are super easy to work with and have true artist talent. I could not be happier, the cake was beautiful and delicious. They have been doing my 2 boys birthday cakes and I will keep using them forever. They are the ultimate best
One of our all time Favorite places in Melrose! A hidden gem ! The pastries always fresh! The chicken pot pie is a MUST try! The quiche pies are exceptional! The staff there is always professional, friendly and always go above and beyond to assist!
Great cakes, phenomenal service from the young kid who works in the front. She was very professional and was very patient; especially considering that I went in with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. Great experience and even better customer service.
