Swick Funeral Home

I recently lost my husband and decided to have his services at D.W. Swick at the Sciotoville location. To be honest, I had no idea that they bought that location from the previous owner Wolfe-Nelson. The reason I chose that location was because most of my families services were held there. Nonetheless, D.W. Swick did great with my husband and his appearance because it actually looked like him. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I met with Dee owner to make/plan the arrangements I told them I wanted these 3 specific songs played during his funeral service, BUT there were no songs played. I didn’t realize it until we were on the way to his graveside service. When we sat down beforehand and I picked out his casket and everything and we discussed the arrangements, Dee had even written down on the forms the three songs with the artists. So I was under the impression that they would be played as we discussed. It did upset me that they weren’t played so this is why my rating is 4. Besides that, everything else went as we had planned and Dee was super nice and very professional and compassionate during my time of need. They’ve even reached out twice by text since then to check up on me and to let me know they’re thinking of me.
