Great burgers, the fries are awesome, and the onion strings are great too! They had to make a substitution and one of the guys from the kitchen came out personally to make sure it was okay. Friendly staff and great food. As a side point, the bathrooms are very nice too!
$9 wings?? Imagine Chic-Fil-A nuggets...10 of them. My family and I went to Swifty’s today for lunch…NEVER again!! The kids ordered wings. When they came, the portion left a lot to be desired. They were bitesize and didn’t even come close to covering the bottom of the plate. Which is no where near enough for a portion and no where close to their competition’s portions. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was very nice and apologetic. In the course of our conversation, she mentioned that the owner was there. I told her that I would be happy to talk to the owner if she would like to get her. After a few minutes, the owner came to the table with 2 plates of 5 wings each with her bristles rolled up and a frown on her face. I began to talk with her and explained that I didn’t feel that this amount of food should ever leave the kitchen for the price that they were charging $9. I asked if she had saw the amount that came out and she said “yes” she had and “felt that it was fair”. She said, “we price it to make money”. which btw was very obvious!!. In the middle of our conversation, she turned around, as I was mid-sentence, and walked away. Such ABSOLUTE DISRESPECT. I followed her as I did not appreciate being treated in such a way. I told her that I would be posting this pic to see if others felt that it was a fair portion for the price. At which point, she said, “you need to get out of my restaurant.” If this is the way that she treats her customers, I feel for her unfortunate employees. She may have been doing this for “forty years”, but she doesn’t do this well!!! For clarification, I was not wanting the wings for free, I was just asking for a few to be added to make it a meal. When it was all said, and done, I didn’t have a problem with the wings after there were a few added to the original plate, food, or service of the waitress or manager, it was the amount of disrespect I was shown by the OWNER!!
While the food is good, sometimes even great, I have never been blown away by the service. If you go, plan to spend at least an hour because your food will take that long. The atmosphere is good and live music on the weekends is nice. I've had the wings and burgers and the quality of food is really quite good. If the service was better, I'd put this at a five star.
Great food! The live music was good but way too loud. We came for dinner with friends and couldn't hear each other speak. The waitress also couldn't hear us so she got half our orders wrong. They have a bar side and a restaurant side, and the top level has pool tables. We had a group of 11 people and everyone loved their meal.
I was part of a large group ~65-70 people that made arrangements months prior to our dinner date. Management did not handle things correctly. Servers walked out in the couple of days prior to our reservation. If the manager, who we confirmed things were all set with, had asked us to stagger groups to help relieve the load on servers and kitchen staff we would have been more than happy to accommodate. The servers we did have were excellent but frazzled due to being forced to cover the regular floor as well as our group. The food we received was great if a bit cool due to the lack of staff. I would eat here again but not as part of a group due to our experience.
The service was absolutely unacceptable. We had to find and flag down our waitress every single time we needed even a refill. She spent more time apologizing for mistakes than doing things right the first time. We waited 45 minutes on food and had to be comped food to fix the numerous mistakes made. Thankfully, they did offer free alternatives, but the atmosphere and price does not make up for the horrible service we've had both times we were here. I am sitting here as I type on an empty tea glass that's spanned 15 minutes without ONE SIGHT of our waitress. Good food, nowhere NEAR worth the atmosphere.
Today was my fourth time dining here. The food is absolutely fabulous. The portions are generous and well prepared. The menu gives a vast variety of selections. All of this for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is appropriate for families as well as people who want to watch sporting events. They also have a large patio with the capability for playing corn hole. There are pool tables and they also have live music at certain times. There is also a large room available for special events. It is also very clean and the service was good!
Service was horrible. Took FOREVER to get refills. Server forgot to put in my food and she was no where to be found when drinks needed to be refilled. When burger was brought out 45 minutes later on a stale bun the server promised to not charge. But My ticket was only taken off $2, while our other friend’s incorrect wings were free. After speaking with a manager, we were still only given 30% discount, after being told the burger would be comped for the waitresses mistake. And when we had asked our waitress to speak with a manager, she became EXTREMELY rude and smart with the whole table. I, nor my friends, will ever be returning. I have never experienced such unacceptable service in my life.
Only been there once but will become a regular once I finish moving. Not only is a great place for a drink but the food is amazing. Different days is a different event. They have a pool table and the patio is really comfy. But the greatest pro about here is their people. Their waitress are awesome, respectful and above all caring.
Not a fan. Waited for 10 minutes at the bar while the staff huddled in the corner. Was going to order food, but the bartender never came back. I have been disappointed here several times before, and decided to see if things had improved. It hasn't. Pretty much the same. Won't be coming back. UPDATE: while I posted this I finished my drink. It has now been 20 minutes since I saw the bartender. I had to find the manager for the bill, and they refused a military discount, saying only on veterans day.
