Not a bad place dirty chia is okay, wish they had the cold brew ready especially since it’s summer and still early in morning. Pastry’s are so so Very good service There’s a food truck called The Pop Top sorry to say but don’t waste the time or money I like to try small shop no regrets but I won’t be back when I’m town again
This place truly used to be a favorite spot. They had a great vibe, great breakfast and lunch menu sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Now it just feels dead inside. They only sell their bakery and have apparently changed their management and have turned the majority of their facilities to packaging distribution. Sad to see such a wonderful place lost. Won’t be coming back again.
Been there before they "remodeled" many times and loved it, and now I tried it one time and I know I will not be back. The pastries are still good but no other food inside, but you have a food truck outside and the prices are outragous and it was not even good. They should have left it the way it was. Very disappointed
Previously, this place sold the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. EVER. Recently the menu changed to return to a more traditional bakery. Too bad. I'd eaten here a dozen times and loved it each time. Now? I'm not likely to return. Who needs just pastries? The sandwiches they DO sell aren't the ones I liked, and I'm not a bread person. I don't understand the change, but they've probably lost me as a customer, as well as many others.
This used to be the best place in the whole world! Super cute inside and wonderful food. It’s awful that they changed their menus and business model. I loved their sandwiches and dinning experience. After the change it’s going to be hard to want me to come back when I have to stand outside to order a sandwich.
Went first thing on a Thursday morning and had the Breakfast Quesadilla. Absolutely delicious! The large latte made the breakfast perfect. Service was great as was the atmosphere. We always take home some rum balls, cookies and other pastries that are also delicious.
This is not a Swiss restaurant. It is a New Mexico restaurant with a couple things thrown in that might be considered Swiss. No Bavarian pretzels, no crepes, no waffles. The pastries were ok. We had a chocolate bear claw that was somewhat dry and an almond horn that was good when dunked in coffee. The service wasn't much - had to ask for my wife's latte, then had to ask for napkins. Just a meh experience.
Extremely disappointed that the business sold and is under new management. Gone is their delicious menu of breakfast and lunch items. Their pastries remain, but they were always just a sweet addition to a bigger meal. Not likely to return again. There are better options in town.
I am disappointed in the fact that they now make their "regular" sized sandwiches much smaller. Half the size of what used to be and still costs the same. Swiss Alps needs to either drop the price of the regular or return to it's former size. UPDATE 7/9 There is a new owner who has farmed out their sandwich making to a local food truck. The food truck does a very good, job , but not the same. Gone are the chips, pickle, potato salad or pasta salad for sides. And the size of the 2 halves equals one of the older management sandwich . Sides are either a salad or french fries. No more bread or pretzels to be baked here either according to the new owner. Probably won't return.
Used to be my favorite sandwich shop, but I guess the new owners decided to universally kill interest in the bakery by taking their excellent sandwiches off the menu. This bakery likely won't make it to see Christmas unless they renege on their business decisions. Fantastic customer service as always, but great googly moogly I bet profits are taking a nosedive. It's like if whataburger stopped offering burgers, and instead directed you to the man in the parking lot with frozen TV dinners and a microwave. Shameful. Absurd.
