I had purchased a property and @ closing discovered that my name was spelled incorrectly. The attorney was very diligent in staying later than usual as the mortgage company had closed for the day and getting new documents was out of the question. So after crossing out the incorrect spelling, inserting the correct spelling and initialing every page, it took quite a bit of time. I completed my purchase of the property and everything was fine. I have used this firm for several closings and was not dissatisfied. Will use them again.
Been waiting on the attorneys to finalize our judgment based off payment due and what claims of damage they may try to scheme up and it's been 5 months waiting on final info to collect I hear from Luna Point that I need to contact the Attorneys and then the Attorneys still haven't finalize what is due so me and my children can satisfy the judgment and get a freaking place less expensive! This is Causing me to be more broke and homeless than I originally was . I'm over it the wait is worrying the state social services due to lack of urgency to a single mother paying weekly for a room. My light bill was the same as my rent 1650 every month Dominion power during the pandemic and I barely stood ground . What's taking so long. Is it hard enough I been booted for none payment give me a chance to regain my financial situation yall are making it worst with lack of communication. I work to get as much money as possible to actual settle what I can but paying for more time with 3 kids in a room is a harder challenge. It's just a finale estimate please God help we cant live in a hotel any longer.

I don't normally leave any type of review online. However, after viewing the few negatives posted here I felt I must. I can only speak for myself and what my clients have told me. They've assisted with closings during war time and peace time; from Enlisted to Real Admirals. They treat all the same. Trying to contact a client stationed on a ship somewhere in the open seas is not easy but they get it done. Each attorney is very approachable and answers any and all questions before, during and after closings. The staff is downright awesome Teresa & Ann I know once I send a contract over I can forget about it. Teresa and all her awesomeness take care of everything for me and our clients. I've NEVER once had a home not close. Yes, there have been *issues* and delays, but not any their capable hands haven't' managed. If my clients don't have already have a preferred attorney, Sykes, Bourdon, Ahern and Levy, PC is the group I refer.
It was a pleasant experience meeting with our closing agent and a lawyer that oversee our paperwork and made sure that we have all the correct information as well as the right amount of our proceed. It was a great time to sell our house. Thank you Jesus!
They were the closing agents for the buyer on the sale of my house. They made an inexcusable. sloppy mistake and did not get the buyer to initial everything he was suppose to initial on his loan documents. So the lender would not disperse funds and I’m waiting at least 4 days for a lot of money. They charged me over $300 for their work and their explanation for their major, rookey mistake? These things happen. Please be very careful when dealing with this firm because they aren't.

I've used Howard Sykes office and his assistant Kathy for many many years on my homes and closings and NEVER ever had a problem. They've always been ON TOP Of every single detail! I highly recommend them for your real estate closings, selling/buying, it doesnt matter, they've done it all for me since 1990!!!
