My granddaughter is attending camp here everyday. The park and facilities are gorgeous! We're very fortunate to have such a nice place available to us.
Very nice park. If you are looking for the 90 foot baseball fields, bear right at the first fork, and they are near the tennis courts and pool. A whole separate parking lot as well.
The pool is generally well-kept. There were a couple of leaves or plant garbage on the bottom of the pool. Not much mind you. They have three low diving boards, and the pool generally is pretty huge in a T shape with swim lanes besides the diving area and three general swim areas. There also is a round kitty pool, about 300 feet away to the side towards the concession stand. Speaking of one of my complaints is that their hours are separate from the pool so inconsistent and you can’t depend on them necessarily. The other major complaint is that they get you out of the pool at the first sound of thunder for a minimum of 45 minutes. We were there on the Fourth of July and got thrown out twice. This is a town of oyster Bay pool. If you or Nassau County, resident but not oyster Bay you’re not considered a resident. Resident admission is $8 dollars non-resident is $12. You must accompany a resident to gain admission. Playground: There’s a really beautiful large modern playground for kids with slides, monkey bars and all the usual amenities Restrooms: There are restrooms inside and outside of the pool building. The outside bathrooms are open from Park open till close which I believe is all daylight hours. Dog-friendliness: The entire park is dog friendly definitely no dogs at the pool Picnic area: There are several picnic tables spread out throughout the park along some trails, and of course, inside the pool with umbrellas and other tables that are set underneath trellises to keep you dry from rain
Staff at the community center is very mean. They kicked my gurlfriend and I out at 7:30pm from the bathroom and yelled at us. My gurlfriend really had to go bad and they didn't care. The man with mustache open the bathroom door while i was peeing and yelled at me. Veru un professional and on the border of harraasement
Nice clean park. It has a good sized playground for children. The community pool is large. There's a huge and cozy picnic area under the trees. Immaculate tennis courts. A couple of basketball hoops and 4 handball courts.
A great community park. Baseball fields, tennis courts, etc. Parking is adequate but can get a little tight when Manny events are going on simultaneously.
I work in Long Island and always visit this park because I love to come here and go in the wilderness to talk to my God, however on July 24 around 3:30pm I was approaching the pool area when a young blond girl said she need to see my ID. I'm from the Bronx so I'm not allowed to swim in the "pool because I'm not a "tax payer from Oyster Bay. Smh, I asked to spk to the manager and ask her if she could make and exception because I drove 1 hr to come here and my teen age son just want to have a different experience from his neighbor. The manager was clearly uncomfortable but she was willing to assist after a discussion. We felt so unwelcome that my so said he don't want to go because he don't need to fit into the "country club atmosphere. We were so disappointed, I can't believe in 2021 after Covid and Delta people want to be so vain. This is my last time coming to this *country club clearly I don't belong here. Snoody people. Put up a sign no non residents allowed!
Very well maintained park. We just registered our son for the pre-k program. All the teachers are so friendly and professional. They made us feel valued and they really care about the service they provide. Everybody there has a big smile on their face. We love it!
Nice park yet play places for kids are kind of limited
. Pros: + Tennis courts + Perfect place for my family to play tennis + Plenty of parking + Clean area Cons: - No seating outside the tennis courts for non players to watch
