We are a parent run organization dedicated to guiding our elementary school students down a path that nurtures their passion for fun, science and legos.
When Trying to start a Jr. Lego Robotics Team for my children and their friends, we were met with MANY obstacles from fund raising to sponsorship. It was because of this along with the growing interest in robotics on the elementary level that we decided to take this team all the way, it was then that the idea for this League was born. Although we have doubled in size since last year, currently we are a team of 14 children comprised of four local school districts, although we are not affiliated with the districts themselves. It is our hope that in five years time each surrounding school district will have at least one elementary school FLL team under the care and guidance of the Syracuse Jr. Lego Robotics League. During this period of growth we hope to establish a strong board of directors that can help these new teams reach their potential and fortify them through providing fundraising opportunities, guidance and instruction from local computer and engineering professionals, marketing/advertising opportunities, and a firm structure to lean on not only in the early stages of starting their teams but also provide a strong community and administration that they can depend on throughout the history of their teams.

Our mission is to nurture the growing interest in STEM among our local elementary school students through providing tools and support so that they may reach their dreams of creating Lego Robots and competitively show what they have created in the national arena.
