The reason I give it 3 stars is because I live in Birmingham and our T.J. Maxx is way bigger and has way more stuff. I stopped in there while I was visiting family and they didn't have anything in my size except some shoes no clothes for small ladies that have to shop in the juniors. It was more like a home goods store to me
If you can find what you’re looking for the place can be great; however, the store is very unorganized and check out takes forever. It does not matter if 2 people are in line or there’s a line out of the queue. Be prepared to dig for what you are looking for. Some people that work there are super rude and could care less of your experience. Solid 2 only because it’s convenient when you can find what you need/want.

The staff is less than friendly. I asked several people for assistance before I finally just gave up. I also bought a pair of shoes there and when I got home with them even though they were attachedto one another I found out that one was bigger than the other one and now I've got to take them back. What a pain! The store is very haphazardly organized clothes were strewn all over the place there was a lot of personnel there that worked there however they just seemed to be wondering around. You'd think maybe the organization could put them to better use by having them walk around and straighten up the store keep things that were supposed to be on sale on the sale racks and things that were supposed to be grouped together grouped together.
Good selection of items. Large clearance section. Didn't purchase anything however. Store was well stocked and not too cluttered. Prices were about average for TJ Maxx.
Love this place! The only complaint I have is when I went to purchase some mark down items the lady said the items were not actually marked down and someone had changed the tags. This has happened more than once. Its not necessarily the workers fault but aggravating.
After making my purchases I was exiting the store and alarm went off. I came back in the store and the clerk waved me on saying “Don’t worry about it.” When I got home a security alert plug was still attached to one of my items. Of course I will have to return to the store to have it removed.
Normally pretty good, been under stocked like most retail places have suffered through. They could have clothing for more age ranges. It feels like this store location focuses too much on the younger demographic. But who doesn't love TJ Maxx
I love going in tj maxx! They always have new items and great prices!
I travel all over the country, riding my motorcycle. Jasper, Alabama has to be one of the laziest towns in America, and one of the most tribal. Went into TJ Maxx got a couple of items and there were five people in line with only one cashier. The second employee walked behind the counter, picked up some scissors and walked away, leaving the one cashier to handle the five people waiting in line and you wonder why brick and mortar stores are having problems competing against Amazon
