Terry's God given talent was formed and nurtured throughout his life. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, his father Fred Wilson, an artist and art educator quickly recognized his prodigy. Drawing since the age of two-years-old, Wilson has been surrounded by art all of his life. As a child, Wilson amazed people with his pictures, because the hands and feet included digits and facial features which were all in correct proportions. In fact, his earliest drawings were so exceptional that he was commissioned to draw a picture and he received a payment for drawing at age three from a New York Child Psychologist.
Throughout his childhood he took art classes in school. By junior high school, he knew he anted to e a professional artist. Today, Terry is an internationally recognized artist who specializes in airbrush and acrylics and has distinguished himself by paying close attention to detail.
Terry received his formal training in 1977 at John Herron Art School of Indiana University in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta. Although Terry is a multi-talented artist who works in many mediums, he specialized in air brush. His versatility includes drawing, painting, designing, illustrations, murals, advertising art, interior design and landscape gardening.
