Easy parking, pretty clean lot for a truckers lot. Showers inside were clean, hot, and both reserved parking and showers were EXTREMELY easy though the TA app. Was even able to unlock my shower door with pushing a button on my app!! I didn't use it, but thought having a hotel here was cool, and Amazon lockers for delivery.
Fuel station is small, hotel/store needs security, there's no hot food late evenings, very little free parking, and a whole lot of paid parking... then to top things off the shop couldn't see me for hours on end just to use a tool for 1 minute to blast some air into a tire unseated from the rim. If it wasn't for the nice shower, I'd have rated this location much much lower.
Country pride has lost its pride. I have never had such poor service here before. I walked in and was greeted right away but then she asked me what I wanted to drink from the pass through. Over 10 feet away. I know it's just a drink but I don't want someone yelling at me. Very poor customer service. When I asked her to come to my table she sent my server this was the manager yelling. Then the server did the same thing. Not cool. Then because this upset me they both had an attitude and I couldn't eat my meal for fear they had spit into it. I'm very disappointed. They both need to be retrained. 9/7/2023 9:00am.
Freaking rip off with regards to parking, if you get 60 gal of fuel, and if there is only reserved parking available you still have to pay $25. This isn't fair, and this franchise is taking advantage of drivers, "f" capitalism this is scam to hard working individuals. So essentially it's cost $50 dollars to park. Shame on the owners. Then there is an over size load taking up two free spots. Make that make sense. Of you get fuel and need to park in reserve they should validate for free parking
Inside parking is on the blind side,$25 for truck parking if you are parking for more than 2 hours. It gets packed after 6/7 pm. They do check parking receipts
A large truck stop. Lots of parking and reserved spots. There's a service center and gas here. A hotel on the grounds is convenient. The store has your typical drinks and snacks. There's a restaurant in side. The food is good and the wait staff is polite. Amenities include showers, restrooms, laundry machines, a chapel that seems to only be open on particular days, a drivers lounge, an ATM, barber services, a video game room and a small fitness room. You can make an appointment for a DOT physical here. Overall, it's a good facility. The cost is $25 a day for parking. You can pay at the gate or spend $25 on the amenities or food. Be sure to get your receipts. You'll need them to exit the parking lot. 4.5.
Stopped here while traveling back from Myrtle Beach, and decided to try out the showers. I'd never used them before and didn't know how the process worked. I was a bit lost, but luckily an employee named Travis saw me and asked if I needed help, and went out of his way to make sure I was good to go. I hope TA appreciates what a kind, respectful employee they have in Travis and that they reward him for being the asset that he is. I've already spoken with several drivers I bumped into at rest stops and recommended this location, and intend on continuing to do so. BTW for any women traveling alone, I felt 100% safe showering here, and they were shockingly clean, and I mean CLEAN. Idk if all truck stop showers are this nice, but this one was well worth the $18 I paid to use it. They even had towels and soap in the shower, as well as a fan, if needed!
The restaurant is a joke. So expensive. Got a very greasy smash burger. Couldn't eat it. Even the bun was soaked in grease. Won't eat at Country pride again. I have worked many kitchens & would never serve my customers this so called food. The store & restrooms were clean. Need to fire there cook. Just plain lazyness
$25 cash to park even though we paid $44 to eat at the restaurant. Food was fair, and that's being generous. Back out to the truck and there were RATS everywhere! Many of them! No surprise with trash all over! Will never stay here again. If there was time left on our clock, we would be gone! GROSS!
The diesel pumps are crowded. It's not so much the amount of pumps, but the lack of space behind them. I had to squeeze my truck & trailer behind another truck who was fueling up & it felt like I was threading a needle. Then, it's awkward to line up into your lane due to the lack of space. Whoever constructed this monstrosity couldn't have had their cdl. That being said, im adding a star because the staff seemed good.
