Friendly staff, subway was gd, showers had hot water, decent pressure, now the down side, the parking lot has some huge craters, watch out, they will swallow u up, parking lot is so dark, 1 giant spotlight isn't enough. It may appear bright, but it's not, the other light poles don't work. Safety needs to be #1, shower #8 looks like it could use a remodel. Although it does work, I think the credit card machine needs some work too!!
Great people working to keep the place welcoming and clean. There are lots of travel related items, gifts, restaurants, ATM, games, snacks & food—including my favorite in the road snack: the boiled peanuts!!
Always a great place to stop in for a clean restroom break, hot quick bite to eat clean store and friendly cashiers who go out of their way to help find want you're looking for to get you back on the rd. One of our favorite places to stop when coming in or out of Florida. Keep up the great work guys.
I would rate higher because of the employees for the TA and Popeyes but the my shower experience almost took it all the way down to No Stars! First off, the fuel desk and cashier employees makes sure you are greeted and interacted with in a friendly manner. Secondly, the Popeyes location can get quite busy and you may get skipped when getting your food but if you don’t overreact, they will definitely make sure to take care of you and you won’t be disappointed! But to my reason for not wanting to give a 2 star rating… this location needs to get their showers remodeled BADLY! The doors are old, the ceilings are falling apart and the vents right about the showering area, needs to be replaced or at least cleaned immediately! I wish I could’ve seen the way they looked beforehand because I definitely would’ve went to another truck stop and not wasted the money here. Drivers beware, SHOWERS ARE NOT UP TO DATE AND HAVE MAJOR REPAIRS NEEDED!
All but one shower doesn’t have a light in the shower stall. The attendant told me that shower 1 & 2 were the only ones with working lights in the shower stall. But then told me shower 2 was leaking and shower 1 had someone in it. I told him that I would wait. He said okay. Then he came downstairs where I was sitting to tell me that shower 6 was ready. I told him shower 6 doesn’t have a light either! He shakes his head. This is unbelievable! After driving all day all I want is a clean shower stall with working light in both the shower stall & the toilet and sink areas. I’m appalled TA!
Truck had to go to the shop. Jimi was exactly the kind of technician you want to meet when needing repairs done. The main store is kept clean and everyone friendly and upbeat. Need more of that kind of attitude everywhere.
Country Pride restaurant apparently has been closed since 2020. I guess it would be to much trouble to take down the signs. Seems it would have been simple to do when they put up the signs for the trashy junk food. Popeyes, Pizza Hut and Subway.
This is the a great TA. It has a Subway a Popeye's and a Pizza Hut and also a Country Pride all in which you can have something good to eat either fast food or some good salad bar this place got it with some good parking the good entrance for diesel and a great place to do a line stop bathrooms are nice and clean also the entrance is easy to find overall I recommend this place
Stopped in for a DOT physical with Driver's Heakth Clinic upstairs and Melody got me in and out quickly. Her kindness was a great change in pace from the DOT doctors i am used to, was only a short wait and got me on my way. I will definitely be coming here when it is time to update my physical for now on as this is near home. Thank you Melody!
