DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! POPEYES/BURGER KING ARE PERMANENTLY CLOSED!! They just still have the signs up. I walked in the freezing cold to get food from this place thinking they had 2 restaurants inside according to posted signs outside. Waste of time.
Terrible cashier staff. Most are ruid and half the time cashier staff is not working. Can't keep staff because they are ruid and lazy. Only a few do there jobs. Only good thing is Popeyes in the ta . And on mornings the staff does a good job at cleaning showers and bathroom's .
There are good stores for snacks,lunch,dinner.Rest rooms are also available.Gas stations close by.stops for trucks.McD,Popoyes and many more close by.There is a convinene store for salads sweet treats chips.
Besides the restaurants either being closed temporarily or having odd hours, not a bad truck stop. Pretty clean when we stopped through. Has about 33 reserved spots which is perfect for the drivers that like to truly plan ahead for their trips, not so great for the cheap drivers, but it has about 92 spots altogether including car parking spots. I wonder how many drivers that unhappily end up having to pay for a spot even realize that, that spot, wouldn’t even be there if it weren’t for other cheap drivers like themselves? At most it’s like what, $18-$20 for a guaranteed safe parking spot for the night? If that’s to pricey for your blood, that’s truly sad and my condolences go out to you.
Really disappointed by the treatment of the lady that works in the store. I woke up early got into the store to grab some tea but unfortunately there were only two types of tea and none of them were good for me. So I decided to take the hot water and drink the tea that I have in my truck. Leaving the store on my way out with hot water the lady just rushed out of the store and started to yell out in front of people that I had to pay for it. We’ll I said it was water and she didn’t believe me asking if I mind she could take a look inside my cup. Of course I showed her that it was clear hot water in it because the store never has good coffee or tea and the Oatmeal that I brought with me with intention of eating it for breakfast was gone right away when I came back to the table where I left it when I went to the bathroom. To be honest I feel really offended by that lady. Whatever it was in my cup it didn’t cost more than 1.50$ is that worth to chase people on the street and ask them to pay ? Why would you really think that I don’t have 1.50$? Or I’m running away from paying this amount or whatever amount it is. I will rate you with the lowest rate that’s possible because you guys need to train your staff how to give people good service so they’ll want to come back again after long hours of driving. And the last thing I want to mention is that this coffee which the lady thought I stole is not even worth 50 cents by it’s real taste.
Easy parking for our rig which was a blessing in this area. They have showers for $14 but the one we were given was very small and tight. Up side was it was clean and they had extra towels available easily.
Worst customer service. Waited 10 min for them to figure out who they were helping. Then the lady told me to walk to the end of the counter to get my prepaid scale ticket when she works there. The could walk herself back to me. Lazy azz woman. You are working there. Learn proper customer service!
Ok guess. Closed restaurant only fast food. Seems making truck stops undesirable. Or at least turn to small grocery store. With liveable prices.
Burger King - Texas Burger, fries, strawberry shake. Good dinner before bedtime. Peaceful spacious place to eat. Cool pictures!
I really think TA is really becoming one of those companies that are too big beyond their control. Most TA are really dirty, everything is broken, understaffed, services are really bad and in professional. And when there’s a issues, the lack of help is horrible. I have had too many bad experience with TA and now I’ve decided, I would try to avoid it as much as possible. TA dose not appreciate their customers at all period. T A should go to loves and learn some things, we would really appreciate if TA cared a little bit. Ta= worse gas station!
