I am Tabitha Cooper and this is my story....

Born into a local native family full of gatherings, food, and outdoors you could say my childhood was nothing short of dirt roads and green pastures. My poppy would let me brush his barely there fragile hair before i could walk. "Ducky" my grandmother taught me a french twist at 10 years old; over peanut butter fudge and laughs bc my little brothers hair held a darling little static that his soft hair just could not resist. With his big brown eyes he would stop by to see my progress. Watching my beautiful mom ( a retired Southern Bell of Cypress Gardens ) get ready for a fun night out before Ducky arrived always captivated my attention. Then, there was my sweet dad, he would allow me to concentrate close to 20 multicolored animal barrets in his mullet main around 1987ish. These times were invaluble. Pushing close to 23 I decided to sit down and ponder what road I would take to better myself and others. Opening my own Salon was presented to me about 4 years into my hairdresser journey. Researching and getting a printed picture of what matters to me in this business has grown my culture from seed. As a girl I would play in the orange trees in our backyard. From making flower arrangements to orange juice I've always loved this land. Now our trees are almost gone. Sadly this world is nothing like i imagined it to be. Our resources are now killing our resources, and most believe money heals. I am here to make a difference. Our products speak volumes about sustainability. Recycling is vital. Be the change you want to see. Different is not alway better but better is always different "UNITE"

Here at my studio i use Kevin Murphy and UNITE two very botanical brands with healing properties for US and THE EARTH. We look forward to a soft opening of our Sustainable Salon coming soon in the downtown Auburndale area.
