YUM! My friend chose the restaurant this time around and I’m glad she did! Our waitress Sedona was the absolute sweetest and kindest. Seriously, such a nice young lady. The tacos were fresh and crispy, queso was warm and gooey, chips were crunchy, and the margarita was delicious!! I cannot wait to come back for a Taco Tuesday!!
Tacos are ok. not very comfy I think it's to crowded specially bar area to small specially when I comes to people leaving or getting to other floor but in general the concept is great maybe a bit more attention to details can make place better I'll recommended home made salsa real salsa or few of them tacos are better with a food salsa. I add some cilantro and pickle cabbage to my tacos and where good they do have all to make it 5 start tacos specially if they add good salsa to menu
Loved the tacos here! The pork and pineapple was my favorite. The real winner was the tree leches for dessert! Well done and the candied jalapenos on top were a great accent. Definitely enjoyed the rooftop views and especially the trivia on Tuesday nights!
I had lunch at Taco Betty's earlier this week. The setting is quite nice, the service was prompt, and the food good. My tacos were fresh, and the pork and pineapple combo was terrific. I with they served a bitter helping of rice and beans, though. I would totally come back again.
As far as the food, I think that is ok. If you've been to Chipotle's then you can say that the food is very similar. What I really liked was the rooftop but you have to order from a different menu, I guess they don't want your food flying out of your plate if you order something like tacos. But overall it was ok.
I was super excited to try Taco Betty's out for the first time. Unfortunately I get there and they are doing a "Burger Takeover". The menu only has 4 burgers and one is vegan. Really disappointed so we will be heading somewhere else to eat dinner. I will say the "Jin and Jooose" was really good though. I hope to try it again in the future and actually get tacos at Taco Betty's. I will update my review then.
Dont let the size of the establishment fool you when you walk in... its tiny and cozy but there is an upstairs also they have an elevator too. I have not been up there so i cant review what it is like. The service was phenomnal; he was extremely friendly n knowledgeable. It was my first time there so i was unsure of what to order so he suggested the blackened tuna...i was leery and he could see it, "if you still have that look on your face after your first bite i will get you something else" and with a wink and smile he left to put in the order... words cannot describe how DELICIOUS this taco was... diced pineapple,cabbage, tuna cooked to perfection topped w a spicy sauce YUM! The tacos are smaller but filled w the yummiest freshest ingredients. They do serve something on the side while u are ordering im not sure what they are cause i didnt ask...but they are a white 'chip' they looked like pork rinds but they werent they were very good also.
Food is always good, dont like plastic glasses for mix drinks. Wish they would change up their menu once in awhile
Pretty good flavors of tacos, we ordered the sampler plate for $25 to split. Nice atmosphere too, although not real big inside, there was plenty of room at the time we went. The rooftop dining would have been nice but too hot in the middle of the day, and no awnings or canopies. I'd like to come back when it's a little cooler and sit outside on the street or the roof. The chips were kind of a joke though. You just her a very small amount, the salsa was just so-so, and the few chips we got weren't super frest, definitely not worth $4.99...for chips and salsa? And very little? Uh, no.
Great food and drinks! Friendly staff. Very cute bar restaurant.
