I love the restaurant chain, however, this location doesn’t listen, everytime I order food, i ask for salsa ranch, and I never get it. I have to hold the drive through line up just to ask for what i asked for when I handed my debit card. Train those young folks to listen and remember. Update 8/16/23 So i get my food home , and i bite into the guacamole and chips and get a mouthful of pure salt, I thought maybe it was an accident with the chips, i kept eating and kept getting very salty bites, im completely confused, so i scraped through it, and i find nothing but salt piled up in mounds throughout the cup, this looks like it was done purposely, i have high blood pressure and this is not good for me. I wish these restaurants would train their young employees correctly, this by far was not cool and i am completely done eating here, i will drive to Mesquite if i want Taco Cabana.
Been a fan for a long time, and had to stop in while traveling in Texas. Luckily I looked at the online menu since their breakfast platter was not on the store menu - kinda strange! Also surprised that Salsa bar was empty, but staff was nice and gave me some to-go. Food is good, plenty of parking, helpful staff and clean restrooms.
Do not go to this place. Order is always wrong. I spent 5 mins ordering a beef enchilada dinner and cabana sampler. After all that, I get back home 15 miles away to have a cheese enchilada dinner after explaining at least 3 times I wanted beef. My last time going there. I am surprised they are even able to stay open. I called the number on the receipt, it just goes to voicemail.
I haven't stopped at a Taco Cabana since the pandemic and today was my first time. I was really looking forward to it. The menu has changed and I get that. The Salsa Bar shrunk dramatically. No cilantro, no onions, no jalapeños, etc; just three types of salsas. I took one star off because my corn tortillas were not warmed long enough which caused them to break when I attempted to roll them. I took another star off because the trash was full and overflowing. Made getting rid of trash difficult. Plus, the drink area and the lid cubbyholes were dirty. The staff were nice, but I'm assuming they were understaffed.
It was good food, for what it was. I mean it IS fast food, but the margaritas to go were excellent-again, for what it was. I would definitely go back. The service was great and that beats everything.Food: 4/5
Worst taco cabana I’ve been too! I ask for watermelon and strawberry see pics! Also added refried beans on nachos and didn’t tell me! Took forever to even greet me!
The food was in line with expectations, but the inside resultant was not being maintained. Every table on the inside was dirty and had not been wiped down. If you expect customers to clean their own tables before eating at least provide the cleaning supplies to be able to do so. No ice in the ice/drink area and customer after customer was given a cup to go make their drink and every one of them had no ice available and had to go back to the register and ask for ice. Not a big deal per se, but they did the same thing to 12-13 customers in a row instead of just giving them a cup of ice up front when they ordered.
I had a coworker go here a couple weeks ago and ordered steak tacos, a Barbacoa street taco plate, and a chips and queso. I ordered it 45 minutes in advance from pick up. It wasn't ready and they had to rush it and I got chicken tacos and chicken street tacos and no quest. I've tried multiple ways to get ahold of them since and yet to hear anything. I've called and emailed as well as try to get corporate but nothing. I don't have a car so I can't just walk up there. I'm not happy about how the situation is handled and I've tried to get my money back since I didn't eat my food and still got nothing. In my choice I will not being going back, but I advise every one to double check their food.
Food tasted fine. But for the price it's not enough. What I don't understand is why the drive thru employee was chewing gum. I couldn't understand anything she was saying. Get some proper training please.Food: 3/5
The food was good, but you get a small amount for the price they sell for. I think that chips with some tacos shouldn’t be $10+ for a meal. Chips alone are very cheap.. I definitely like the taste overall but not sure if I want to come back.Food: 4/5
