I had tacos. The meat had Jalapenos in it. Not a fan. Very busy inside. Took a long time to get my food. Atmosphere was simple and plain.Food: 3/5
Visiting Waukesha for the day and we were excited to stop in and eat at Taco Johns. We did NOT get to stop in and eat because there was a sign on the window at 6:00 PM that read their lobby is CLOSED due to short staff. This is Pathetic. I’m not eating in my vehicle and I cannot bring food back to Oak Creek. This really is irritating. How difficult is it to wipe a damn table off and sweep the floor? Your establishment is losing profit you need to pay the staff you needed to man your lobby by turning those away at the door that wish to dine in.
Pictured is the Spicy Steak & Potato Griller from the value menu along with potato olés. For being a spicy griller, there's no need to pick up any hot sauce packets since you can instantly feel the heat. If you're seeking something spicy this would be a good pick but it also wouldn't be a bad pick for someone who doesn't eat spciy food regularly.
Absolutely disgusting. Do not come here. It was full of college kids who can’t even make food. Potato Oles were burnt, the burrito wasn’t even wrapped around properly and had everything spilling out of it and was inedible. The steak in the quesadilla was extremely overcooked and inedible. And they forgot the ranch that they charge you for. Do not waste your money or time coming to this location, especially if there’s going to be kids working there.
Recently visited Taco Johns, we've been coming here for the past 25 years, good food, fast service, friendly staff. Clean restaurant, nice to see the recent cosmetic updates, Great place to bring families and friends.
My girlfriend went into Taco John's to get us some food, I gave her my card to use knowing I had roughly 20$ on it, she comes back telling me that my card was not accepted and that she had to use her card. All fine and dandy, right? Just thought to myself "eh, must've just been computer error, no big deal." About an hour later I go to speedway to get a few drinks for us and it turns out that Taco John's charged my card 10.20$ and her card 5.30 yet somehow put me 2$ in the negative. The order was only 15.50$, I had around 20$ how am I now 2$ negative? We call them up and they say they can't do anything about it. We went through her receipts and found that not only do we have her receipt check #406 at timestamp 16:55, drive thru but another receipt check #1631 at timestamp 16:55 online order totaling 34$ even and someone by the name of Lorraine Campbell employee time slip clock in 9:51, clock out 16:54 I am absolutely vexxed with this and I require reimbursement. Edit: Spelling error.
Used to be pretty good. I have a very low bar for a place like this but they missed it. Half the menu is burritos and whoever is working there can't even wrap a burrito lol. I could make a list of the other things that made it a disappointment but we can just start and stop with the inability to wrap up a burrito.
Today was a very BAD Experience. Big flies n other bugs crawling around tables etc. An employee non stop talking even getting right up on customers about sudoku etc, couldn't take an hour without way too much get this get that, not allowing the customer to just order n move on. Also talking about the toilet not flushing out loud while people eating, an employee smoking with the door open so I was forced to smell it, talking about maggots etc. We planned on coming for happy hour in the summer nope we'll just make it our self. Was there again for taco Tuesday and good was great, restaurant was clean and stocked and service was great. Was there Tuesday n food was great restaurant was clean service was great however the older lady with blonde hair was wearing medical not food gloves n kept touching her hair which is nasty as hell. Why wear the wrong/any gloves if your still going to be nasty. Stick to cashier or something else. A few months agoMy experience was great today like it was three weeks ago food great including service and two completely different crews, however I noticed the same problems like dirty tables however at least this time the straws etc were stocked. Yesterday 5/10 Service was a lot better even with them being pretty busy. I actually felt bad because that had to deal with a rude customer and they handled it better than I would have!
Best place ever great food. The staff were very helpful. Clean place and well Organized. They need a taco John in Pewaukee wis.Food: 5/5
