Ordered food to go. Customer service was great, very nice. Food was not so good. I ordered the traditional chicken tacos, teriyaki chicken taco, and ground beef tacos. The beef tacos were okay, but the chicken tacos were bleh... The chicken was bland and the toppings didnt look appetizing at all. It also looked like the chicken isnt cooked to order... idk, the texture was off. I also ordered lemon pepper chicken wings, those were good. Needed more seasoning..... I wouldn't buy tacos here again.
Absolutely the best mahi mahi I’ve ever had! The tacos are amazing and so flavorful and the salsa is so fresh. Definitely try the blackened mahi bites and you will be glad! They are outstanding. Love how they have “make your own bowl” where we get to pick the base - rice and beans or lettuce, the protein and like 3 more veggies to add in with it too. I picked grilled blackened mahi and it will be my go to - it was fabulous and so very flavorful and healthy. The cilantro dressing was fabulous and was house made by our super sweet and perfectly attentive server. She did great too! I feel like if we were able to visit this restaurant more often they’d start to say hey to us by name as we walk in the door. We live about 45 minutes away but I’m already ready to come back for more. Definitely my favorite restaurant!
The place is very uninviting. You just walk in and apparently supposed to seat at a random open table and hope the waiter/waitress realizes a new customer has come in. Anyways, placed an order to go at the bar. The burritos are so tiny! I put chapsticks next to the burrito in the picture for comparison. Even Taco Bell burritos are bigger and filling compared to the serving size here and at 1/10th of the cost. The food took 30 mins to prep after I ordered. The burrito tasted okay which is why I gave 2 stars and the bartender was a nice fellow. Definitely won’t return nor recommend this place to anyone.
The worst! We waited almost an hour for our food, we were the only people in the restraunt eating everyone else was at the bar. These are the fajitas. There are like 4 or 5 pieces of chicken and its floating in oil and grease. The lettuce was wilted and bad. The meat in my husband's carne burrito was so tough he couldn't eat it. I'll usually give a place a second chance but not this place.
Great Local Restaurant and Bar!!! Great food, knowledgeable bartenders and great prices. Outstanding cooking staff with many years of experience in the field. Locally owned with the ownership from the immediate area. Owner is frequently there most evenings with Hands-On in the business. Always looking for ways to improve and listens to suggestions. I've been in the immediate area long enough now and I've seen many places fail miserably and this is one place that actually has staying power with a great atmosphere. Disclaimer - This isn't just a Mexican style restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of food with new items being added frequently.
Had good experiences in the past here with pretty tasty tacos. Unfortunately we went for one drink a draft beer and rum and coke and it took 25 minutes to get our drinks. They were out of almost every beer people ordered and all tables weren't bussed. The bartender was more preoccupied with eating food than tending to the bar patrons. She forgot our drink order and wasn't doing a good job at helping out the one server in the bar who was trying her best. Sadly, we probably won't be back again.
Food was good. Had wings and fries, and the wings were a good size and tasty. Service was not amazing, but I chalk that up to an inexperienced waitress. Despite the issues caused by the waitress, the manager made everything right. Overall, the experience was good and I would go back.
Love the wings. We were in town for the weekend and ordered 150 wings. And they were amazing. The size of the wing was perfect to. A lot of places have small wings. Not here. The lemon buffalo flavor was my favorite. Place was really clean and the staff was very attentive. Thanks for a great experience.
I am visiting Charleston SC and this was one of the places we decided to stop and eat with family. Not bad until we ordered food. My party of 7 all got their food and finished all of it before I even got my 2 tacos. Once I finally got my food, I got the wrong order. Yes they screwed up tacos. After about another 20 minutes of waiting, my waitress comes out and tells me my order will be out in a second. She said the wrong order will be done and once I corrected her again she ran to the kitchen to tell them to make the right order. After all was said and done, the food tasted good. Service was horrible!
There are no better tacos out there. The lunch special of two for less than ten with drinks and chips is unbeatable. The boom boom tacos are out of this world. Only bad part is the service. It seems as tho there is a new waitress every time and it is completely hit or miss. Last time it took two hours and we had to send our food back twice. Wish it was consistent cause the food is great
