It was Ok. The flavor is just average and I have definitely had better all over Las Vegas. Not bad, not memorable… just OK.
I ordered a carne asada torta, carne asada burrito and chicharrón torta. Upon first bite, I knew I should have went somewhere else. My food was dry, bland and had the taste and texture of cheap ingredients. Everything about my food tasted store bought with nothing freshly made. This is not Tijuana-style food and is far below even California-style Mexican food.
I have NEVER tried Birria tacos and wanted to FINALLY get some crunchy, juicy, yummy tacos everyone has been eating. I was across the street and used google who said this place has what I'm lookin for. First of all, the atmosphere and employees were not very welcoming, the blank stares with no words just makes me feel uncomfortable. Second, No elotes even though it was on their menu. So I settled for 2 birria tacos as a quick snack. ....... If these are the tacos you guys been hyping up, it did NOT deliver! They were mushy an falling apart, no kind of crunch or let alone structure. The consumé tasted like beef broth. What I was expecting , was definitely NOT this. Where can I get an AUTHENTIC Birria taco? Recommendations needed pleaseeeeeee ***I attached a picture of my 2nd taco, I couldn't even pick it up it was sooooo soggy
Angelica had thee worst attitude I’ve ever experienced! I brought my friends from Marina Del Rey California. I had been telling them how amazing this place is. I’m SO EMBARRASSED. My friend had a service companion with her vest on and Angelica immediately informed us we were not welcomed to dine with the service companion. I explained to her that I’m a restaurant manager in California and lived and in Nevada a few months ago where I held a title of restaurant manager. I explained to her that it is illegal to ask a patron for verification of a service companion. My friend was so stressed searching for her verification, where she could not even think straight. I was so angry that I could not even enjoy one of my favorite places to visit. I brought my friends here to enjoy one of my favorite places in Las Vegas, only to be completely humiliated! I’m never going back! I tell so many people about this place. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 20 plus years, I’ve never been treated this way. Even worst I had to convince them to visit this place…they stepped out of their comfort zone because of my advice only to be humiliated!
I went on Taco Tuesday night. It was buy one taco and get a taco free. They were the small, soft yellow corn tortilla tacos. Meat choices were chicken, pork carnitas, beef steak, shrimp, plus one another taco that I cannot remember. They have the lime wedges cut up and refrigerated along with red and green salsa refrigerated. You must ask for the lime and salsa if you want to have some. The carnitas and pollo chicken tacos were yummy. The beef steak taco was okay. The atmosphere was nice. Small indoor eating area. It was super busy. But, among all the busyness, the cashier and server were friendly. Their spirit made you feel welcomed. They handled how busy it was very well. They kept up with the flow.
Came in from out of town and we came here two days in a row!! Way cheaper to eat here than to eat tacos on the strip! They have a variety of meats ! They give a lot of meat in the tacos as well! I wanted to get an agua fresca but the horchata one you could see the layer of the powder at the bottom so it looked unappetizing. We also had to clean the tables ourselves as there was leftover food from previous customers, Aside from that the cooks were really nice & the food was good. Definitely will come back next time!
Best tacos in town Just delicious
Nice friendly place to eat but I feel the tacos for there size are a bit to pricey. The marinated pork is was to salty for me, but that is just my opinion. I'm not much of a salt person. There selection on meat is small. Carnitas, Asada, marinated pork. Still a good place to grab some tacos.
Been going for the last couple years and have enjoyed Al pastor burrito has been my favorite. A lot better than Roberto’s especially when having a late night
Not bad for a quick bite at late night, the big guy as cashier is very sweet Lol, very professional and kind , prices are good, but the pastor tacos are raw meet jus be careful cause the color is one thing an the raw meet is another especially in pork, no mamennnnnnnnnnpeople can get sick because of that!!! Could be the end of your business. Just check your meet before you eat there.
