Went in just before 8 pm. Ordered a total of 6 tacos 2 of which were asada the others were al pastor. The asada ones were 100% made with old beef. It smelled off. Was a clean place. Did not care to complain about the tacos because it was late and quite frankly I didn't want to eat from there after what I had experienced. I went back in to try and notify them but I didn't see anyone when I went back in.
We drove six miles out of our way to try this place because it was $ and 4.7 rating and we were up for an adventure. I ordered a pollo, asada, and carnitas taco. My husband ordered a carnitas burrito. We also split a bean and cheese burrito. Man the carnitas was good! We both really enjoyed it. It was even better than this taco truck on I5 I reviewed a few weeks back. Chicken taco was good, but I didn't care for the asada taco, still good, but not my fav. The bean and cheese burrito was also the bomb. I get a bean and cheese burrito at almost every Mexican place I go and this was def in my top 10. Plus pricing was great here. Just because it is a little out of the way don't let that stop you. Go the distance and enjoy this gem!
Do not purchase from this establish. The lady at the front was incredibly rude when I called for an issue. She could barely even speak and chose to hang up the phone instead. I already had my order ready, but I chose to cancel it. I will not be eating here, ever.
The asada nachos were good but definitely not worth the price for the amount of meat you get. The adobado taco was flavorless. The chicken taco was my favorite, the chicken was soft and full of flavor. The aguas were pretty sour Jamaica & tamarindo oh and the adobado taco was not priced to reflect taco tuesday as it was one of the meats that was on sale. The staff was friendly though.
I thought the food here would at least be decent here based on the amount of stars it has, but its not. I suppose all the people who gave them 5 stars have no taste buds. I had asada, Al pastor, and cabeza tacos, and the asada burrito. The Al pastor was nothing like I've ever had before. It was like boiled pork, very watery. The asada was old and was diced to the size of a granule of rice and extremely salty. The cabeza was too watery. Overall food was bad but service was ok.
My Jamaica was watered down only took two sips. Asked for horchata girl had attitude. We ordered menudo meet was so chewy had no choice but to swallow it whole. Her nasty attitude just put the cherry on top.
I haven’t ordered anything but just reviewing because the lady was very helpful that answered the phone. This is now a food truck so that’s why it shows they are permanently closed.
Very good place to eat. Got the asada fries with the asada burrito and everything was fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
This place is delicious. Its clean and they have excellent customer service. I had the Birria de Chivo and it was amazing. The best I've had in years. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area!
The birria was great.10/10 They moved locations. It's a lunch truck now.Food: 5/5
