I have been going to Tahoe Peaks for just over a year. I have lost 30 lbs and am no longer pre diabetic and have more energy than I have felt in years. Scott and his team make working out fun and they encourage you to challenge yourself. Come join us as Tahoe Peaks where we burn fat to build muscle.
Tahoe Peaks is not not just any gym. Owner/trainer Scott McRae combines his education degree in kinesiology, his experience in various training environments and continuig learning to create unique workouts for each individual at each session. He has a remarkable intuition about your particular issues and is great at re-hab of injuries as well as reversal of chronic conditions. Basically, if you think you'll just have to live with your issues, you're probably wrong. It's just that you haven't given Scott a chance to sort you out.
If you're looking to train hard, get results, and leave the gym feeling great, this is your place! Scott prioritizes form above all, and adds variety to each workout to keep things interesting. People who come here are friendly, welcoming, and love to crush their workouts! As a bonus, the pricing is extremely competitive. You'll get a ton of value for your money.
I have been a member here at Tahoe Peaks Performance Training for 3 years. At first I could not even do 3 situps, pull ups, or even get on the row machine for more than 200 meters. I was 254 pounds and totally out of shape. I had pre diabetes, super fatty liver and a BMI of 38%. 3 years later, owner/trainer Scott McCrae and his unique program has put me back in shape. I no longer have health issues, my weight is 215, my BMI is 26% and i row about 1300 meters without issues. I attend team training classes 5 to 6 days a week in addition to his specialized Small Group Trainings that include Boxing, Cardio and Core and Mobility. I also have one on one personal trainings with Scott once a week. For me, it was about my health and well being.
