The BEST place to get frozen bones for my lab in bulk!! Big freezer right by the entrance! I was floored when my coworker told me the place I drive by every day has a huge retail side in addition to training services which I haven’t used yet, but am looking further into. Super friendly and helpful staff who helped me with training suggestions and products that may help my specific pup without being pushy. Stop in next time you drive by, awesome selection of high quality products, they have a small cat product selection too if the big inflatable dog out front scares you off ;
Josh and the whole staff at Tail Blazerz are amazing! Our puppy Zia went to boot camp training and we can’t express how thankful we are with the awesome job they did with Zia
I signed my dog up for an in-residence bootcamp and they asked for a deposit prior to me signing a contract, but never said that the deposit was non-refundable. Upon reading the contract I was given the next day, I found that there was some very scary language about them not being responsible for injuries to my dog while they were in the program and how they strongly recommended the dog have insurance prior to beginning the program. Upon questioning this contact, they said that the injury portion did not apply to the bootcamp and was more applicable to their day camp, but they still required me to complete the contract. Upon expressing that I was not comfortable with the contract and that I was not going to enroll my dog in the program until I had insurance, I asked for my deposit back. They would not return my deposit, but they did allow me to roll it into another class where we would attend with the dog, instead of dropping it off for a week of in-residence training. A week before the new class, they called to cancel due to too few dogs being enrolled. the next camp will not begin for another month. I again asked for my deposit back or for it to be given back to me in store credit, they again refused. This place is a complete rip off and refuses to be responsible for your dog when they are watching them. I would not recommend them to anyone as they have no understanding how to treat people with fairness and honesty.
Nothing but a great experience! Daycare, training and grooming have all been exceptional. The staff is always very welcoming and upbeat. My dog gets so excited mornings he knows he’s going and I know he’s in good hands for the day!
if their return policy was fair to the consumer, I wd have rated them 5 stars
We love TBU! From the friendly staff to the great store selection, to the fabulous training with Matt, to grooming withe George - TBU is our one stop for everything we need for our pup!
Took my good boy Ace there to make him an even gooder boy. Was not disappointed. Matt is an excellent trainer and you can tell he genuinely cares for dogs. It's always a little scary trusting someone to keep your best friend for a week but it was well worth it. He came back with the same happy go lucky demeanor with just wayyyyyy better leash manners and recall. Well worth the price tag and piece of mind.
I was so pleased by how great they are here. My dog came out looking adorable and smelling of Mango. I recommend to people that have been looking for a one stop shop for all their doggo's needs.
Last night I was helped by Josh even though I showed up 5 minutes after close. I had happened upon the place in my search for a coat for my boxer and he gave us a personal fitting since we weren't from the area. The personal attention was great and he seemed really invested in helping us even though, like I said, we came after hours. A great experience and we will definitely be making the trip back and may even take him up on his class options.
The owner, Josh, is extremely irresponsible and shouldn't be running a business caring for other living beings. Before the pandemic I was an employee with a decade of animal care experience and the layoff was very welcome as I have a son anyway so I would have had to quit anyway so this isn't a 'vengeful ex employee' situation. I don't want to go into detail but I have seen him exhibit extremely erratic behavior. Current clients beware, pay attention to the way he acts over time and you'll start to realize it. I tell anyone that asks to stay far away from here.
