I have been a Talbots customer for over 20 years. I’ve been forced to order online because I’m plus size and they no longer carry a lot of items in the store in Scarsdale. However, when I have to return some thing I need to go to the store in Scarsdale. One of the sweaters I received was poor quality my first time wearing it since the weather has been so warm. But because it was over 60 days they would not except the return. They were rude. And not helpful at all. Had to call an 800 number. Wait on hold for over 20 minutes to speak to a customer representative. They could’ve done that for me at the store and taking the time to go and extra step for someone who’s been a valued customer of theirs for 20 years. The manager Wendy could not be bothered to help at all. So thanks to her. I will no longer shop at Talbots for the amount of money you spend on their clothing the least they could do is offer pleasant, courteous, helpful, customer service.
I had a very pleasant experience shopping at Talbots today. All the clerks were helpful and knowledgeable - especially Denise Jones. Denise showed that she had fashion sense. She was warm, thoughtful, and demonstrated super customer service. She really made me feel comfortable and happy I came there. She is a wonderful contribution to Talbots!!!
The clothes are both classic and sporty. The clothes fit very good. They have different ranges of sizes.
