Food and drinks were good, service was okay. Our server may have been new as she didn't seem to know the drink menu well but kept checking in and got us our food and drinks quickly. I had the salmon it was cooked as requested and taste was very good. My group also liked the Greek salad and shepherds pie. Our little one shared the brisket they are somewhat picky eaters but seemed to enjoy it as well.
Beautiful place, clean and very warm atmosphere. Beer is great but could be colder, was shocked when I had my 1st sip and it was not icy cold, still good but a little disappointing. The food I had was underwhelming. The chili was fine, nothing special,no cheese or crackers included. The sesame tuna was not good. Not sashimi grade tuna, chewy, possibly previously frozen, it looked good but the quality of the tuna was not to my liking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, great bartender. Food 2 stars Beer would be 5 stars if colder,so 4.5 stars. I'd come back to drink here,it's a very nice place.
This brewery is everything every brewery should be, if they could. Our first impression was its beautiful modern building that is spacious and comfortable inside and out. A large indoor space is complimented by a large outdoor patio bar and seating areas. Parking was also plentiful. The main reason anyone would come is of course the beer. And the beer is top notch, with many varieties for every taste. We recognized the seasonal favorite that's available in many places, Gourds Gone Wild. It is our favorite pumpkin spice beer. It's amazing. Some of the others we tried too were excellent as well. The Dark Oak Dunkel was memorable. I have to get more of that one! We had a bartender who moved from Chicago and was super friendly and polite. We enjoyed talking to him the entire evening. We want to come back as well as try TBBC's other brewery location in Ybor City. The best reason to return is the beer, but so much more, as this place does everything the right way.
We went yesterday for Oktoberfest, and I can't say I'll be a return participant for that, but I will return for the food served inside! Let me explain: I drove down from North Florida to attend Oktoberfest with family. The advertisement was very vague, but we were under the impression that the "traditional German fare" would be more than mediocre pretzels and... brats in a pretzels bun. The contests were poorly organized with no male/female categories for the stein holding contest, and everyone had to ask for the consideration to be taken. There was only one category for the costume contest of which a baby won. At an Oktoberfest? Odd but ok. The live music was fun, and the $25 stein and $1 beer refills were reasonably priced, although no one in my party made the purchase. Everyone loved the Gourds Gone Wild seasonal beer. Our food was delicious and made up for our disappointment in the German fare options. We all shared the pretzel, shepherds pie, wings, Nashville hot chicken, burnt end mac and cheese, beer cheese soup, and apple pie dessert. It fed all 5 of us. All in all, it's always a fun time at TBBC, but please list specific details next time!
We loved everything about this place. Great beer and great food. We had the pretzel for an appetizer. I had the fish and chips for my main course and my wife had the brisket. For dessert, we had the apple crisp. I would recommend all of it.
We have been here multiple times. The food is great and prices are reasonable. The beer selection is vast offering of many tasty options. We will be back.
We ordered the hummus and pita which was fresh and delish. We tasted few beers and ordered the ones we liked it. Their food presentation was good.
We come here regularly, good food and friendly staff great beer. Everything is always delicious! I really like the brisket and the chili.
Went to this nice casual place for dinner with friends. Ambience is OK, but food and beers are good. We tried few beers & cocktails, pretty cost effective. Hummus, chips, wings, pizza, burger and salads were amazing. Service was little slow, seems they didn’t have enough servers.
First time here, will be regulars. The bomb, meatloaf, and salad are all yum. Love the pumpkin beer. Can't wait to be back to try other items on their menu. Strongly recommend.
