Hillel provides opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity.
Hillel's mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. The Brooklyn College Hillel seeks to promote the following core Jewish values by: (1) strengthening Jewish identity among the college's Jewish students, (2) sustaining and developing their commitment to Israel, (3) increasing understanding both between Jewish groups and between Jews and others, (4) fostering a climate of tolerance through a pluralistic approach, (5) engaging its students through Jewish learning opportunities, arts, culture, recreation and religious experience, (6) cultivating students’ participation in social action.
