I’ve passed by this museum so many times and finally this year I went. I’m not an expert when it comes to the military but had a great time viewing the massive Tanks helicopter and other vehicles they have. It’s not a big museum but if you have free time and you are in the area I recommend stopping by it’s $5 for adults and I will gladly return and bring other family members.
Great place! Lots and lots and lots to see! Price is great, workers are great, everything’s great! Stopped by and looked around for a while and saw some cool things! Turrets, APC’s, torpedo tubes from a ship, 5 inch cannons, tanks, trucks, a helicopter, bombs, bomb loading carts, the list goes on! If you enjoy old military things, I would highly recommend visiting!
Always drove by and today I finally got the chance to stop on in. Luckily I went with an enthusiast and he sparked up a conversation with the knowledgeable owner and volunteer. Made the visit that much better. Tons to look at. Good history lesson.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
Cool spot for any type of military or historic enthusiasts. We were walking along and one of the staff just walked along with us, small talking, and giving us history and cool facts about many of the tanks.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
I love this place because it provides an opportunity to see so many military vehicles in an easily accessible place. This is a great place to walk through and take pictures and read the self guided tour to make history come alive for people of all ages. I highly recommend this for school kids to walk through and see a bit of military history ip close.
We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back for another visit!! Here you can find everything from military vehicles, tanks, ammunition, to emergency vehicles and antiaircraft, artillery and armor carriers. Needless to say its an amazing collection of history with an amazing entry rate and volunteer opportunities available!! $5 for adults $4 for Seniors and Vets $3 for 10-16 years old $1 for ages 5-9 years old Under 5 FREE Parking is FREE **Additionally we bought miniature tanks for another $6 each but the price varies depending on size and type of military vehicle purchased. While there we met a Vet who was gracious enough to tell his story of flying Huey Helicopters in Vietnam and Desert Storm which was even more awesome that we had one right near us hearing his story! It was an amazing trip and a great way for my kids to learn history! Can't wait to go back!!!
I visited this museum over the summer while visiting colleges, and I still cherish my memories of the visit. There were so many things on display, including tanks, self-propelled guns, APCs, bombs, mines, shells, torpedoes, tank training devices, helicopters... the list goes on. There's something for everyone and many of the vehicles are in very nice condition. The M4A3 105 had just been repainted in a nice shade of navy green before I visited. There's an online PDF that contains information about all of the things and the owner is a really nice guy. Who could've known that somebody that hangs out with tanks all the time could have so many cool stories! Stay cool, Craig! I'll see you again!
Small outdoor museum of military vehicles. $5 entry for adults. Children under 5 are free. Parking is free. Enjoyed coming out here and checking out the cool military machines. Souvenirs and restrooms available.
Nice self-guided open-air museum. Definitely worth a visit. A lot of interesting military equipment that volunteers mainly care about. Someone may be affected by the neglected appearance, but it just gives the museum a spirit of authenticity. Someone might say it looks like a junkyard, but only 1/4 of the museum is open to the public the other area is a deposit.
Self led tour of several old military vehicles, tanks, boats, missiles and a helicopter. Minimal shade available, so go on a cloudy day or a non summer day. I enjoyed it and the staff are very friendly.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
