Perfect park with obstacles for beginners, especially the mini ramp, I don’t see that at a lot of parks. Not huge, but has all the starting obstacles to get you off your wheels, hopefully to transition eventually to back on your wheels. As always, where you pads! Pads give you courage. And safety.
Tanks Skatepark in Highlands Ranch was updated by ARC Skateparks over the summer. They replaced the old outdated park with some fresh pre-fab ramps. If you remember the old park then you know the layout made no sense. The best thing about the old park was the grass gap! This new one has some cool features including the brown wave ledge, the orange bench thing, the yellow up/down ledge, and the custom Willy Santos curb spine. It is easy to maintain a flow with the quarter pipes, banks, and the a-frame pyramid. There is also a cool mini ramp. The coping is a bit unusual though!
This park has good, flat ground for skating on. It has two 4 foot quarter pipes, a large bank feature, a 3 foot quarter pipe, and a mini 2 foot ramp. None of the ramps are built very well, and they are all falling apart. However, this is a good place to learn basic beginner transition skills.
Its for kids. Great place for beginners, locals are really nice.
Not very busy, which is nice for beginners. There is no bowl, so that make it a little boring. There is a bathroom smelled bad, but at least it has one. Also, not much shade. It had a picnic table off the parking lot with shade. The one with viewing of the skate park was full sun...not good for the dog.
A perfect skatepark for beginners. There are 2, 3, and 4 foot quarterpipes, along with several ramps and a flat rail. Not usually very busy, and not much shade, so on sunny days the ramps coping especially will get pretty hot.
Why on green earth does this have anything about 2 stars, huge quarter pipes, a half pipe , and like 2 boxes? No ledges no small rails, so much room here and it’s basically empty, go to Dtc park or anywhere else . This place needs help
A fun and free, local skate park for kids in the Highlands Ranch area. The parking is only accessible from Wildcat Reserve, not Broadway, but once there, there is plenty of space for bikers and skaters to enjoy. Have fun and be safe!
Good make out spot but not a great skate park for actually skating. Has an interesting and pretty good tennis court.
I understand the reason they converted the in-line rink to pickleball courts but have to give it 1 star. Now have to travel to Parker/Lakewood to play/practice outdoor without paying. Losing that hockey market I guess. Thanks all you old pickleball playing grandparents
