I love this place. I've now been several times. Whether you meet a friend, come with a group or just want a nice, cold brew while you're out on the square, this is the place you'll want to go! During special events, they're packed to the gills, but their staff are bustling and will get to you quick. Thomas, behind the bar, really knows his beers and will advise you of your picks that he's sure to keep in his fridge at home. They don't serve food, but will allow you to bring in a pizza to-go to enjoy with your favorite beverage. Today, I was out on the square, taking care of some business and decided to take a walk and visit some of my favorite shops. At the last minute, I decided to pop-in for a brewski. It was the middle of the day, so just a handful of people were seated at the bar. I ordered the Wanderlinger Wheat Caroline, made in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's great when I can enjoy a beer that's brewed right here, in the beautiful state of Tennessee. Supporting small, local businesses and breweries is my jam. Before leaving, I gazed at their vast display of specialty beers and picked out a couple to take home with me. Both, were quite deliciously great picks! Be sure to check 'em out while you're out on the square! You'll be glad you did. Parking: Just be patient and you’ll find a great place to park!
Great place! Excellent beer selection and fun games to choose and play. There's a couple snacking appetizers, pimento cheese dip and spicy trail mix. There's a good blend of beers from a variety of breweries in an assortment of states across the United States. There's a lemonade sour on tap that was excellent and a couple Nitro beers on a tap, as well... Like the fruit beer on Nitro, which was just fantastic Great selection of IPAs on tap, as well. It's a quaint place that is cool and clean and feels comfortable to drink in the small, quaint town of Columbia, TN.
First time at this cool little spot in the square. It's a bit small and a bit narrow but it's well decorated. They have a wonderful retail selection of canned alcohol beer/ciders to buy. It looks like you might be allowed outside food. The best part are the friendly bartenders. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Not the best place for a group of friends, but a good location for a few friends looking for good atmosphere.
Amazing draft selecting, huge can selection including make your own six pack, and cold beer cans available. Super friendly staff. Very helpful and engaging, helped me find the beer I wanted and my next stops on vacation. Right in the square downtown. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely the cleanest and most organized tap room I have ever encountered in my life. The service was friendly and efficient, the beer selection was extraordinary and the music playlist was laid back with the volume at a perfect non ear-bleed level. You can actually have a conversation with someone here without having to scream over Rebecca Black's "Friday" because the volume is cranked up to 11. Here you can chill with your whomever while enjoying a beer you've never even heard of while listening to Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic" at a perfect conversation volume level of 6. And after you're done with your beer adventure you can even buy some beers to take home. Or fill a growler to take home. Maybe even buy a t-shirt because you've had a few beers and are in that happy place where you just buy a t-shirt of a bar you love because you had a good time, and you want to wear that shirt and have people ask you about it so you tell them "Go there, you'll love it!" And for the people whining that there isn't a full menu...this is a tap room, not a Chili's. This isn't the place to meet your friend Brad and shovel a Triple Dipper© in your gullet while the two of you talk about your loveless marriages and how your stepson hates you. This is the one, the only, Taps Off Main. If you live in or around Columbia and you haven't been here yet then you now know why there is an ache in your heart. A hole left unfilled. Five stars.
Cool place to hang out and have a beer with friends. Family/dog friendly. Great staff, good prices, tons of local and not local good beer. Great location in the town square with plenty of spots to sit back and drink a frosty one.
Taps is just what the Columbia square needed. Great draft selections and an expansive canned selection for enjoying on site or to go. You can also fill a growler. Aside from small snacks, no food menu here but no worries because you can bring in or have something delivered. This place is a hidden gem! Excellent selection of 26 taps. The library of carryout selections is wonderful. Hope to visit again. If you are ever in the area and enjoy good beer and ambiance, do yourself a favor check them out.
