Great service and prices when they have items. Marked down because some stores don't have common items. And can't find a store with all items.
Items consistently scan at a higher price than listed on the shelf. The first time, I thought it was just a mistake in their inventory. I check the price on the shelf, and then noticed that the self checkout rang it up 50 cents higher. I had to wait in a separate line for a person, and they honored the price on the shelf. Not a big deal, but I certainly don't want to be forced to check every single item every single time. On the next trip, I pick up some Triscuits. And they rang up 40 cents higher than listed on the shelf. This time, I just left without purchasing. What are the odds that I pick two consecutive items that have a shelf price mismatch? I get that in the digital age, the shelf stickers are a pain to keep up to date. Target adjusts their in-store prices quite frequently. In their system, they were able to see the cheaper price, but only after I requested a "price match guarantee" that term infuriates me when it is a price listed on the shelf in the same store where I am currently shopping. All the employees I spoke to were professional and considerate. But if you are a price shopper, I suggest some place other than Target on University.
Terrible customer service. Needed help in the tech dept. Was told by staff that someone would come to the tech dept and help me. No one came. Went up front and was told again that someone would come over. No staff came to help me with my television purchase. So I left and won't be coming back. Maybe for a juice bar, but not to buy a 40" flat screen television.
No carts at a non-busy time puts a damper on picking up more than a hand basket full. No wheels on the hand baskets. Store was clean and pretty well stocked.
One of there best stores. Very clean and great service.
I usually go to the Target in downtown Berkeley and it was always pleasant there, but today I had to come to this one for something I couldn’t find in the other Target, and the experience was horrible. The customer service was extremely rude, and this is what I experienced and witnessed: Usually I would use self check out option, but some of the things I bought today do not have a barcode, so I had to pay at the cashier. I told her about the missing barcode, but then she just walked away without saying anything to me. After some clueless waiting, I found out she left to check the price. Meanwhile, it’s getting busier when she came back, she literally yielded at the customers to use the self check out system, but none of those machines were available at the time. The way she treats the customers is so rude...
I checked the website for a product I needed and the website said they had 6 units of the product at Target in Berkeley, I drove from San Francisco to Berkeley, the traffic was horrible. When I arrived at the store the employee told me that they did not have any units. Such a disrespect with the customer. Since I drove from far away to pick up the product I needed. Extremely poorly organized store. I really would like to have some answer from the manager!
More like a large Walgreens with clothes than a target, but still a nice store and the staff was friendly
Don’t buy electronics from this store - the serial number on the box and the electronic gadgets don’t match. They were refusing to take my return because of this reason and after an hour, when they checked that the serial number doesn’t match in their other unsold Nintendo switch as well, they finally accepted the return. Pretty upsetting experience overall.
The cvs staff , always a problem filling a prescription, close the pharmacy a half and hour in advance. More than three times I experienced it even I called and talk to the pharmacy , to be sure they were going to be open
