I have been coming to Tarheel Dentistry for many years. It is always a very pleasant experience. I appreciate that I never wait long after I arrive to be seen. Everyone is always so friendly and kind in the office. I also know what to expect during my visit and when I check out.  There’s aren’t payment surprises because I’ve been informed before my treatment even begins.  Even though I have anxiety about dental appointments, they have removed as many barriers as possible to make it a very comfortable and pleasant visit.

Dr. Robinson is the best! I trust him completely.  He explains what he's going to do before and during doing it and why he is doing it.  He's very gentle and considerate of you're needs.  His staff is awesome as well ! I'm so glad I found them in my network,  I've been coming here for years. He's getting a new office very soon with more state of the art technology so that he can do everything even better, especially diagnosing.  I'm excited about that !

If you are someone with anxiety surrounding dental procedures, I can’t recommend Dr. Robinson and his team enough. They are caring and compassionate every step of the way and truly prioritize patient comfort. Dr. Robinson is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner, and always explains his recommendations clearly and thoroughly. They are a shining example of patient-centered care, and I am so happy to have found a practice that I can say I truly trust!

I highly recommend Tarheel Family Dentistry for those seeking a welcoming and accessible environment. Throughout the COVID pandemic, I experienced difficulty locating a provider that would accept new patients, as well as Delta insurance. After several months of frustration, I called Tarheel Family, and they booked me an appointment within the next few weeks. Rebekah and Dr. Robinson answered all my questions patiently and explained every procedure thoroughly. Front desk staff also made the insurance process pain-free. Don’t skip on this option for dental care in Chapel Hill!

Great experience, as always, at Tarheel Dentistry today. I suffer from dental anxiety and Rebekah did an amazing job putting me at ease while cleaning my teeth. Dr Todd was great talking through options and sharing pros/cons of each. I’m grateful to have found such an amazing dental office.

Clearly from all these reviews, this is a great practice, but I feel compelled to tell our story. My 17 year old UNC freshman went in for a cleaning - only to discover that Dr. Robinson believed my son had an abscess in his upper jaw bone. Dr. Robinson wanted my son to come back for more x-rays.  Before my son could go back, the abscess became very infected - high fever and terrible pain.  Truly an emergency. Dr. Robinson and his staff saw my son immediately and personally helped get him to a trusted surgeon.   Obviously, a great dental practice if you live in Chapel Hill, BUT a phenomenal place if you have a college student in the area.  Very grateful for this level of care.

The team at Tarheel dentistry are the best by far.  Not only did they do a great job I always felt being cared for. I needed an extraction which was performed not only painless but with great care. I recommend highly and will use them from now on going forward. Thanks to Dr. Cook and Dr. Epstein and there assistants, thank you all again .

Best dentist I have ever had.  Todd really cares for his patients.  I recently had some major work done and he called me twice to check on how I was doing.  He really cares and he instills that into his team.  Can't recommend him and Tarheel Family & Cosmetic Dentistry more highly.

I love going to Tarheel Family Dentistry-super friendly and patient. Natalia and Dr Robinson are gentle and don’t make me feel badly about my lack of flossing - but encourages me to do better. Highly recommend :-

Superb experience at Tarheel Family.  A complete checkup went smoothly, and Dr Cook was thorough and took the time to explain her recommendations.  The facility is new and very comfortable.
