"Since 1984, Help & Hope Center has been assisting our financially fragile neighbors in Douglas and Elbert counties. We offer a food pantry where you can pick out your own groceries. We also offer limited emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, and referrals to other resources. Additionally, clients can receive vouchers to shop for clothing and other household items in our thrift store, Treasures Thrift."

Hours are wrong, so I was turned away. It's 830a-12p The lady clearly didn't care, I was about a half hour late. So she blamed it on Google, and instead encouraged me to go shopping at the thrift store. Waste of time. Rude. Thanks for caring. The excuse might be more forgivable if the site and social branding weren't actively being managed. Apparently the priority here is branding and not giving out food.
Love Dan, Scott, and the passion of this charity. They help local families in Douglas and Elbert counties get back on their feet, and I love how the Treasures thrift store has so many great finds. It’s great to be able to support a nonprofit that is making a difference in our own backyard.
Good food bank but unable to help with homelessness. Made me and my service dog feel unwanted.
The staff is friendly, kind, empathetic and sweet. Very helpful, very knowledgeable. Helped my family many times with food, clothes, things for our baby, things for our home. Amazing organization. I love them. I LOVE their thrift store next door too. Absolutely love them here. Thank you ladies and gentlemen, for all of your assistance while we were staying in Douglas County. You helped us get by, until our housing voucher came through. It means a lot to all of us! Thank you all!
This place is horrible I went for rent assistance and they said they wouldn't halp me because she already helped 5 people there this is the second time I have tried to get help and have been denied because she doesn't want to help more than 5 people a day they are lazy and denied people in urgent need
I stopped here on the way to Idaho. We were out of food and had no money for gas. They were such a blessing. They gave us more than we needed, and were so lovely. I will tell anyone I know passing through castle rock to stop there if they are in need. Very grateful, and very blessed.
Way too confusing to get help. They seem to be more interested in data collection than helping people. Is this Google or a Food Bank???
This is a remarkable place that provides so much to our community. The staff always gives so much warmth and care to each person they help. I love walking through the place just to remind myself that there are so many people who make a difference for others by volunteering their time and energy. Thank you for all you do!

Omg what a blessing for us. Having moved here 4 weeks ago we had to donate all of our grandchildrens toys and books because we ran out of space in the moving pod. We were able to replace so many name brand toys and books yesterday for so much less money than we could have imagined. The toys were well packaged,clean and in working order. Now we only need a kitchen set and a doll house to complete our grandchildrens play room. Thank you for this center.
