I've had two kids in Task Karate and it's been great for both of them. The instructors have a wonderful way of working with the kids, and my children are learning many important life skills, such as how to focus, to work hard, and be respectful of others. They also get great exercise, practice many skills that improve their strength and balance, and learn how to defend themselves. I highly recommend Task Karate!

My son loves going here for classes. He has made so many new friends. Mr. T is a great teacher.
My son has been a student for awhile, he has his purple belt. He's taken a couple breaks for other sports and Mr T is very understanding and an amazing instructor.
What makes TASK so great is its focus on quality Karate instruction first. I've had experiences with other studios whose focus is more on the money, the up sell. TASK is totally different. Owner Randy Thompson has fostered more of a community atmosphere. He is simply a great guy and that is reflected in the culture of his studio.
My family has been going to TASK for about 5 years now and we love it. TASK is like a family and Mr. T is awesome at working with people of all ages and even helps people with disabilities learn martial arts. We have watched both our children grow in skill, discipline and self confidence. This was the best investment we have made so far as parents. TASK is involved in community events and helps children and adults connect to the community and learn the gift of giving and fundraising for those in need. We love TASK!
We are very happy with our experience at Task Karate! We have two 'little dragons' and Mr. T is a great teacher! It is a joy to watch the kids grow in their karate skills and in their self-confidence.
Task Karate is a great Martial Arts studio. Mr. Thomson is a skilled instructor who cares about his students. I earned my black belt in Karate at Task and am proud to know that Mr. T made me work hard for it as opposed to just handing it to me. I'm currently taking Eskrima classes and enjoy them greatly. It's really fun to focus solely on weapon combat. The thing I personally love most about training in martial arts is having a great stress reliever after a long day of work.
My two children and I attended Task Karate. The instruction was excellent. Mr. Thomson relates well to children of all ages and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that they succeed. He teaches not only what it takes to be a great karate student and what it takes to succeed in other areas of their lives. I highly recommend Task Karate!
The kids love Mr.T and have a desire to stay in the karate program all the way to black belt!
