*Keep in mind that I am a new patient and this was supposed to be my first appointment with Dr. Rasmussen.* 5/11/23 I scheduled an appointment two months ago only to find out when I showed up to my appointment that it was moved to a date and time I didn't agree to, two weeks out futher. My disbelief was met with an inquiry asking if I received a letter about the appointment change..it is 2023 not 2003. I received no phone call and no voice-mail was left. I now have to find a way to take time off to make this new appointment day and time because I fear I won't get another for another two months. The woman at the desk was polite and respectful. My gripe isn't with her. She is already having to do a difficult job and I appreciate her patience. 5/24/23 - I thoroughly feel bad for the woman at the desk for working at such an inept place. I came in for the unauthorized rescheduled appointment to find out the Dr. Rasmussen wasn't in. They said they had called to ask if I could do Telehealth, but there was no answer. They confidently stated the number they called. It was 20 YEARS OLD!!!! The address they had on file was just as old. The kicker is I gave them the correct address and contact information 3 months ago when I filled out my intake paperwork. I was the offered an option for a telehealth appointment instead because she is booked out until September. I declined as who knows what information they will go off and they will come up with some excuse to move my appointment. So I am opting for a new PCP. Even if I don't get an appointment until September, I would rather go to an office that takes an effort to get the correct information.
Nicole ledger is the best..She actually takes time to listenAnd is a very compassionateI have recommended her to so many of my friends and family
Declined to fill a medication I've been getting there for at least a few years, even though I had a telehealth recently where my current meds were acknowledged, and nothing was mentioned. Now I don't have access to my medication. Will get treatment elsewhere.
Phenomenal people from the doctors to the support staff. Have gone there since they opened and NEVER had a bad experience! Dedicated, caring and knowegable! They even have their own lab. No more waiting at the hospital for blood tests. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. My primary care is retiring there but still many capable people there, especially Paula, a physician assistant. Thank you Taunton Medical for keeping my entire family healthy and for being there when we've had serious health issues. Thanks too to Diane that works in the office. She always makes sure somebody gets right back to me when I call.
dr. riberio is like joke not written by a comedian. he’s so bad that it’s almost laughable. almost. first appointment with him he section 12d me for opening up about my depression. second appointment he told me i’m choosing to live this way and said the cute to my depression is watching youtube videos that make me happy. complete joke and massive ego. also implied i had problems with the law and drugs which is completely uncalled for and inaccurate. i came looking for a referral for a therapist and was ridiculed and minimized along with more issues in my three short appointments. avoid at least him all costs. he’s literally the worst and that’s coming from someone who hates himself more than almost everyone. almost— he’s worse than i am
My doctor is good, but when I need for leave a paperwork, a FMLA, seems like they do not know how to fill it up. That was the 2nd time happening with me at front desk said I have to make an appointment for be able to fill it up.
This has to be the rudest and most unprofessional medical practice I’ve ever experienced. I had an appointment scheduled last month my very first appointment here, I was a new patient, but ran into an unavoidable situation and was not able to make the appointment. By the time I realized I missed the appointment, it was after hours and the medical facility was closed. As most rational people know, sometimes life gets in the way and there’s nothing we can do about it. I received a letter in the mail today from my PCP KATIA KORTE, M.D., stating that “she is withdrawing as my primary care physician” because “she is not comfortable serving as a primary care physician to a patient that does not appear for their appointment” and that “I will not be allowed to receive medical care at Taunton Medical, P.C.”... keep in mind, this was my first appointment ever for this clinic, it’s not like I was a habitual offender. She did not even try reaching out to ensure I was okay. What if I was sick, or dying in the street, she automatically assumed that there was malicious intent and dismissed her patient? Unreal... As a “medical professional”, she should be caring, professional, classy, and above all empathetic to her patients. This letter I received today, and KATIA KORTE’s decision to withdraw as my PCP is an example of how unprofessional she is and how little she actually cares for the well-being of her patients. I think she cares more about her paycheck than the health and wellness of her patients. Rather than turn her back to her patient, she should be putting forth effort to try and connect with the patient, maybe see what went wrong and how she could help. But instead, she SHUNNED me from her medical practice. The medical community should be embarrassed to have her maintain her license to practice medicine. As a former Army medic, who provided care to my patients no matter what the circumstance, I am disgraced that she would decline to provide medical care to any person who seeks it. I urge everyone; anyone who is a current patient, you should look to seek medical care elsewhere, because if she’ll do this to me, she’ll do this to you in a heartbeat. And any new patients seeking a new PCP, look elsewhere, because all you’ll find here is unprofessionalism and disgrace.
I have been a patient for about 20 years I've never used the on call physician but had to Saturday night when I Had a medical problem that I tried to resolve myself during the latter part of the night.. this went on an'd on,. kept getting worse and worse that I couldn't take anymore and needed some help ..i was going to go to the ER but when i googled my symptoms found out that it could-be easily treated with a prescription so I then called the on call physician . Left a message with the answering service I then received a call from the on call physician which happened to be Dr. Caticha. He greeted me with "this Is taunton medical emergency line".. so right away i felt he had this attitude like he felt like my problem was not an emergency. He said after I explained myself that he couldn't believe I "waited to call him now" which was midnight and he reminded me that he's "a person to " and he "has a life" he told me with great aggravation in his voice that he "just had surgery"! ..... In my opinion,..this was not my fault that he had signed up for this life style and chose to become a doctor. And if he just had surgery why out of all the colleagues that he has in his practice did he not get someone to take over his "on call"duties? I was treated with disrespect I cannot believe this is my 1st and only time I have used the on call physician and was made to feel really bad for doing so. I am 50 years-old I am not one to call the doctor for every little thing,... it was something I couldn't help as I was I suffering. I too didn't want to run out to a 24 hour pharmacy 10 MI away to get my prescription but it was something I had to do to feel better.
Front office staff are miserable. Walk up and no smile just a blank glare. Ask for a simple thing and they act like its the end of the world
The best Doctors ever. The staff is super. LOVE ALL.
