TAWA health services was born out of the need to fill the gap in health and social services for disadvantaged girls and women in Nigeria.
Working together for the betterment and success of the girl child by promoting health, self-reliance and equal opportunity.
1] Tallafi Program which means to Empower in the native Hausa language, is a holistic program that works to uplift vulnerable women or female survivors of Boko Haram conflict out of poverty to live healthier lives in a simple, sustainable way. It aims to address the problems of illiteracy, poor health, unemployment and extreme poverty among women.
2] Gyara Health Outreach is a two day event held twice a year and involves bringing care to the community in form of doctors, nurses and supplies to families in need. Whole communities benefit from preventive health interventions targeting Malaria, Cervical cancer and Water borne diseases.
