Taylor Farm
"Taylor Farm Dog Park is located on 4.5 acres of property. Situated near the beloved Calf Pasture Beach and directly across from Shady Beach Park, this much-loved dog play haven offers two areas where dogs are invited to engage in off-leash activity. The play areas are not fenced and are divided into two sections by a grouping of woods. To ensure the safety of all enjoying the park, it is mandatory for owners to carry a leash with them. The park management team proudly permits entrance to all pooches and their people at no cost. However, a current Norwalk Resident Pass is required. Norwalk Residents with a valid Resident pass can park here for free. Please note-Non-Norwalk residents will be ticketed for parking."

Wide open grass fields with room for frisbie. Make sure the car you go there in has owner plates registered in Norwalk - not just passengers who live in town.
I come to this park once a year for an AKC sanctioned multi-day dog show. It is well run. I always enjoy myself while my dog competes in multiple events.** The local residents need to remember that if an area is taped off or blocked during the annual event in June, it means you can't casually walk your dog in that area. You are distracting these canine athletes and may get injured yourself. Dog-friendliness: Year-round access for dogs EXCEPT for 1 weekend in June for annual dog show.
It’s a beautiful park but there are a lot of owners who let their aggressive dogs off leash. My dog 8 months old has been severely attacked TWICE in this park. Their excuse will always be “he doesn’t like puppies.” That’s not a good reason and your dog shouldn’t be off leash if you know he/she is aggressive. Like I said, a very beautiful park for dogs, but I will not be coming back because of the aggressive dogs that roam around with their owners not watching them.
I’ve been being my dog here for 7 years. It was a lovely close dog park. The last couple of years, maybe Covid dog owners, it has become terrible. Dog waste everywhere, negligent / ignorant owners and many untrained misbehaving dogs. It is not worth the risk of getting your dog sick or attacked.
Beautiful, safe and plenty of space for your doggies to run around and meet new people and other dogs. Highly recommend it !
Large open space for dogs to run and play. Also a nice pond to play in. Could use fencing to keep dogs from going into the road.
What kind of elitist dog park is this? Residents only parking?! What a joke. It's just a large open field, hardly a dog park. Do not recommend
Great place. Wide open... even a splash pondsaltwater
My two doberman LOVE this dog park! The field is open, fresh and it's very easy to keep your eyes on your companion. It's a great field to play fetch in and a lot of the dog owners we have met are friendly. Only issue is that a lot of people do not pick up after their dogs but for the most part, it's clean. The busiest times I've seen are over the weekends. There's also limited parking but people make it work. Fun park for the doggies!!! PS - There's no drinking water available. For these hot days bring a pop up bowl and water for your doggies :
Awesome spot if you have a dog! So much space to run and always a group of dogs around to play! Look no further this is the best spot for dogs!
