Taylor's Shellfish Farm
"Enjoy the scenic trip along Chuckanut Drive to our Samish Bay Farm and Shellfish Market. Order a bag of oysters togo and let our friendly staff teach you how to shuck, or stick around and let us do it for you. Local beer and wine is available for purchase. Pick up a variety of oysters, Manila clams, or Mediterranean mussels, along with a selection of fresh local fish, Dungeness Crab, and scallops ready to cook at home or dine safely outside on our heated and covered waterfront dock."

I loved everything about this place and highly recommend. Wear comfy shoes as you may have to walk a little ways from where you park. It gets busy as you might expect, so you may have to stand and wait. I’ve never had such amazing black cod in my life! The oysters were great, a nice variety of freshly caught choices. I love the atmosphere sitting outside on the dock seeing their boats and fishing gear all around. There were wines and non-alcoholic beverages as well as self serve water. I just loved the vibe and the slogan “Tide to Table”
Beautiful location with a hipster vibe, music, fire pits and views. The oysters were fantastic & the chowder was delicious. Service was quick, but there was a line building fast so you want to get there early if you want to pick the best table. Will absolutely come here again and recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for fresh, local oyster spot!
Incredible. Simply amazing. The oysters were very impressive, the menu options were perfect and the wine pairing was on point. We were very lucky with the weather and got a great seat. The parking was awkward, but not unreasonable. The only part I would knock is the bussing of your own table. I've still never understood that part, but it wasn't going to dampen the mood. If you want the best - go to the source. #Tide2Table Features: Outdoor, distancing, hand washing. No masks.
Raw oysters wicked fresh and top quality. Cooked shrimp and grilled oysters were also excellent. Worth the small wait. I almost got in line and ordered it all again it was so good. Only downside was lemons were v v old and unusable except 1 segment which did the trick. Vegetarian options: There was a roasted cauliflower dish if you ended up there by accident. All other non seafood items had anchovies, lol Kid-friendliness: People with kids left when they saw the menu, really nothing for them to eat there Parking: Gravel lot
Fresh oysters are the best oysters, and it doesn't get fresher than straight from the farm. That's the reason why you should go to Taylor Shellfish Farm. Years ago you had to buy a bag and shuck your own. Now there's sit-down dine-in service with beer and wine, which is what you want with a platter of oysters on the half shell. Those who don't want raw oysters can get them grilled, or go for other menu items such as caesar salad, soup, shrimp, and other choices. I love this place and plan to stop in anytime I'm in the area.
Best oysters ever, big or small all were incredibly flavorful! On a clear and sunny day like today, there's literally no place in Washington I'd rather be. It was so much fun for the kids to play on the rocks. Good beer selection, too. The view of the San Juan's was unforgettable.Food: 5/5
Beautiful place for an afternoon! And delicious oysters. Definitely worth it for the atmosphere - but we were surprised that the cost of oysters were more expensive than what we see in Seattle at Farmers Markets and places. We figured they'd be a bit less expensive on-site. But maybe you're paying for the experience and pretty views.
Nice view, fresh food, chill vibe, pricey. Nothing for kids to eat. I'm not a big fan of oysters but wanted to check why that place is so popular and mentioned a lot. I take the star away because they need to do something about delivering food order to the right person. I was twice offered to get someone else's food. And people sitting around me were also not so lucky to get their order right at the first attempt. Maybe use the order number plastic triangles for the table?
After getting into Seattle on Thursday night and heading to my Brother's house. First thing Friday morning we headed to Taylor Shellfish, and I've definitely been dreaming about Shellfish. Taylor's did not fail to satisfy! It's been Pacific Northwest Folklore & Landmark since 1890. Taylor's is located at the bottom of Chuckanut Drive. So if you have a Motorcycle, Hot Rod, or Sports Car, you will want to take that vehicle on Chuckanut drive, it's been a Pacific Northwest Legendary Road for years. The views of the San Juan Islands are absolutely breathtaking, no matter the weather. And when you finish that ride or drive, at the bottom of Chuckanut is Taylor's Shellfish. They have freshly farmed oysters, clams, muscles, gooey ducks, and the most amazing pickled herring you've ever had. We ordered up some fresh oysters on the half shell. Three different breeds of oyster. Two of the oyster breeds are small and the other breed is a midsize. All three of them were exceptional, raised right there in Samish Bay. The day was very nice, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy our feast. And you know if you're ordering fresh Shellfish, you're required to order a beer, or wine. So we opted for a couple beers, and again the most amazing fresh shellfish I've eaten in years. I would also like to point out that Taylor's Shellfish was started a mere 5 years after my friends at 1855 Black Angus Beef. Obviously, some very smart people back then had the same passion for Quality Food's as you and I. Fortunately for you, Taylor Shellfish is available to anyone in the Continental United States. So if you would like to order oysters, clams, muscles, gooey duck, merchandise and more, go directly to their website and check em out. When you place your order, do me a favor, and tell em Art says Hi!
Went to open house, very unique location. Cross between a restaurant and a shellfish processing business, with a tiny gift store. The driveway alone is unforgettable. Wide waterfront view...and nice people. No dogs allowed. Parking: Gravel. Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel.
