SGA is the official collective voice of the student body. We want to hear what you have to say.
As an organization, SGA lobbies, funds, and programs on behalf of the student body.
SGA's Legislative Branch, The House of Student Representatives, meets every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the BLUU Chambers to discuss pertinent issues, make recommendations to the University, and fund various initiatives. Additionally, SGA leaders meet weekly with top Administrators to communicate and resolve student concerns.
Through the Finance Committee, we allocate roughly $100,000 to student organizations each year. This allocation process takes place in the Spring and Fall and information on how to get funding can be found on the SGA website.
SGA funds major progamming events on campus, such as the Fall and Spring Concerts, Family Weekend, Homecoming, and the Christmas Tree Lighting. In addition, SGA funds the daily programming activities of theCrew.
As a whole, SGA is the official collective voice of the TCU student body. Are you interested in joining SGA? Have ideas to improve TCU’s campus?
Please write on our wall or message us. We would love to hear from you!
