I went today the teller was really great . People get mad when things dont go their way and have no problem putting bad reviews.. I have had accounts with TD and never had any issues. We need to be more positive with good reviews. I have used both Lake City locations and now living in Gainesville using this location. Today 10/14 I had an appointment with Hunter to open my business account and personal account. It was such a pleasure to talk with her. She helped me so much. The customer service was top notch. I cant express how great the whole branch was with all the great customer service. I'm a retired banker and you dont see great customer but she is an asset to your company . I would recommend Hunter and TD if your looking for a great bank.
Absolutely amazing customer service! The staff went above and beyond to help me with an international transaction, and everyone was incredibly patient and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this bank!
TD staffs were very helpful. They are all knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. Hunter, Amanda and the rest of the team made sure that our banking needs and expectations were met during our recent visit. They even possess great customer service skills. My husband and I were grateful for their impeccable service. I highly recommend them.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS BANK. It took over an hour to open a personal checking account. The app is terrible. When you select "contact us" in the menu, there is a "TD ASAP" number for customers. This number does. Not. Work. Average wait time to speak to a customer service representative is about 30 minutes. They charge fees every month even when you meet all the account requirements......i called every month for 3 months to have the maintenance fee refunded back to my account. Every month, i was assured i wouldnt be charged.....every month, i had to request a refund. Ridiculous. I do not recommend banking here.
Recently I spent two hours and fifteen minutes here updating my verification phone number. TD bank is seriously outdated and regarding TD Bank’s Gainesville location it’s just awful. The staff are beyond incompetent. The manager is a joke. I closed my account just before finally moving back home Svolvær, Norway, but regardless I wanted to give everyone a fair warning. Bank at your own risk. This is such a limited financial institution. While in America I also had accounts open with both Chase and Wells Fargo and never once did I encounter any issues.
Amanda Dennison is one of the greatest customer service employees I’ve ever dealt with. I had an issue with a different TD bank and when I moved to Gainesville I came to this branch to get the issue resolved. Amanda investigated the problem & made it right instantly! She explained everything to me and she constantly kept me informed on the process. She’s awesome!
The only TD for 100 miles and it is has it’s atm closed, forcing its customers who work during business hours to pay their fees for using alternative ATMs.
I came in after work around 5:15 on a weekday needing to open a new account. Amanda helped me and was amazing! She laid everything out very clearly and was a delight to work with. She even stayed with me past closing time to get everything sorted out.
This is one of the worst banks with which I've ever done business. They have the most ridiculous hidden fees. They seem rather deceptive as well. I was supposed to get a $150 bonus ninety days after opening my account. My wife called to ask about it, and they told us we have to wait another ninety I guess to ensure our loyal business. They should say six months if it's truly a bonus that we'll ever receive. They are the worst. Stay away.
Fast and efficient. I also just wanted to give a shout-out to Amanda G, who was very kind and helpful with my money order and changing debit card. Great service!
