Now I understand why this branch has such poor reviews. I called 3 days ago to order US funds. I spoke to Tina who assured me the funds would be ready today. Well, the funds were NOT available and I was told to come back tomorrow. I think because Tina is pleasant and confident, her superiors mistake her confidence for competence. Now I have no choice but to move my accounts, investments and TFSA to another institution. I have been with TD since they merged with Canada Trust decades ago. If this is how they treat their customers, I will take my banking elsewhere. Such a shame that head office doesn't care as they are well aware of the ratings at this branch.
Disgustingly rude financial advisor who picked up the phone and was extremely condescending! Learn how to treat customers or lose all my business! Told me he can’t waste 20 mins to count $50 USD of 1 dollar bills.. I ordered $1150.. and only needed 150 in 1’s for a vacation. Worst branch by far.
I have already written directly to head office, and I see another town resident has made a complaint here for the same issue. I cannot stress enough the concern I have with integrity and responsibility when the very manager of our small town bank is defaming not only her client but neighbour on the internet. First and last name, address. As the previous complaint said, there are several avenues to take to address what she felt was unjust, this is not the way. If she has no issue with the privacy concerns of social media, how do I know she’s taking the safety and security of my funds seriously ? I don’t. I read many other complaints before giving my own, they name this very said manager and all of her incompetence. I truly hope this is seriously addressed and in a timely matter. Georgina branch is about to get in influx of complaints and I for one, will also no longer use this institution. RBC is gaining a new customer. Responsible banking, with poise and code of conduct are exactly what I look for when it comes to my investments.
I can't say enough bad things about this company and this specific location. Poor customer service. Asked to speak with a manager and manager didn't want to help me. Sent me to the person I was complaining about. Tina is not responsive and continues to drop the ball. Next step is head office. Avoid this place.
This was a fantastic branch, but is now has the slowest service in town. I avoid this branch at all costs, but have to do my store deposits through this branch. The last 3 times I have had to wait 30-40 mins to be serviced. Very disappointing
When we had a problem with the way in which a teller Juliana O, treated us; the manager Jeremy Johnson was so unprofessional. Although he provided us with bank policy cash limits were the reason for our problem he was unable to listen and thereby calm an unhappy customer. He instead said he will defend his team at all costs, asked us to leave the office he invited us into and went as far as to threaten to call the police if we didn’t leave immediately. We didn’t make threats other then a promise to file a formal complaint. He had a prepared narrative that did not include how customers are treated and was nothing short of dismissive. As a longtime manager myself it was shocking to see the lack of trained, experienced quality of senior level staff this branch employs. Do not recommend this branch. I don’t think the police deal with a tone that you don’t like or that makes you uncomfortable. Although it may take a few weeks, Td has lost my business
This is the worse TD bank I have ever been in. Keswick branch. The line up was out the door. Only 3 Tellers. Then 1 of the tellers went to lunch and another one had some kind of problem on the phone. Thank God I dont deal with the TD bank. I only had to deposit money for someone. After standing in line for 25 minutes, I walked out and went to the sutton TD Bank.
Not a good experience. Why make it so difficult something that is not. We asked to open an RRSP account but was declined because was too late on the day. Although reached at the bank at 430pm but had to wait in line for about 15 min. We're advised to call online telefon banking to open the account. We called and waited for at least 50 minutes on the phone without anybody picking up. Meanwhile we got worried that the account may not be able to open online and drove for 25 minutes to TD location on Davis Drive in Nemarket and reached there 8 minutes before closing at 6pm. The teller Kristina with a big smile on her face and professionalism open the RRSP account rightaway and did the deposit. All this in less then 10 minutes. We left the bank right at 6:02pm. What a difference in customer service between the 2 branches.
I have been a loyal TD customer for 11 years. And this branch offers horrible customer service. I am so upset that I'm switching banks. Do not bank with TD they are unfriendly and rude.
Great Bank, this is a new location for TD Canada Trust. All the staff are very friendly helpful and answer all your questions, they make sure you don't leave not having all the information you're required to make decisions. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was that on multiple occasions they have not set PIN numbers on my cards properly and I've had to return to get them fixed.
