Jerrod's program is hands down the best DT Instructor course I have ever participated in. The techniques are effective and the coaching staff is amazing. It is physically demanding, but you will leave this course with more confidence as an instructor and feeling like part of a team. I would recommend this program to any defensive tactics instructor, no matter what level of experience you have or what program your agency is currently using. It will make you a better instructor. In my 7 years working as a contractor and now State employee for the Department of Corrections, this has been the best training they have ever sent me too. Prior to attending this training, fellow Officers described the concepts and how Team Hardy ties one task into one another so you don't feel overwhelmed, which was perfectly described. You will sweat, you will get frustrated, but at the end of the training you will have grasp the moves and information. Additionally this was some of the best coaching and team building I have seen. Would recommend this training the anyone.
Team Hardy training was personally and professionally a very important training for me to attend. I was taught important ground tactic skills that were simple, effective and easy to retain. Additionally, instructors were patient and knowledgeable in instruction. Would suggest Team Hardy training over and over again for anyone interested in learning ground tactics and improving their skills. Jerrod is skilled and supportive, an instructor that makes you feel that you're not just another student he has to push through training. He assisted me in not only learning the physical skills of the class but also the mental aspect and confidence that comes with a position in law enforcement. He is the best!
Great class with real world tactics that are simple and highly effective. I have attended many other defensive tactics/ground tactics courses but this class has the best combination of hard confidence drills and coaching skills that help you effectively teach your students. Jerrod does an excellent job teaching both the techniques in his system and his methodology for coaching. The Ground Tactics Instructor course would be good anybody looking to improve their coaching skills regardless of the subject.
This class was amazing. Jerrod really took the time to brake all techniques down to make them really simple to understand. One technique leads right into the next so you always know the next step. In this class I was pushed to my limits and beyond to not only better myself but those around me. The level of passion and knowledge that Jerrod brings to this class is what really makes it special from the moment you show up he makes it personal getting to know you and what you want to get out of the class. You will be able to not only learn these techniques for yourself but also learn how to break these techniques down and teach other in the best way possible. I highly recommend this class for any law enforcement professionals from Detention/ Correction, Fish and Wildlife, Probation and Parole, City Police and County Deputies.
I was extremely impressed with the Team Hardy Ground Tactics course. The techniques presented are simple, easy to learn and effective. Additionally, Jerrod's understanding of adult learning and injury risk management are second to none. We will be incorporating several concepts from Team Hardy into our Defensive Tactics curriculum which will be a significant improvement for us. Highly recommended!
Absolutely incredible coaching for not just physical skills, but mental and emotional skills as well. This is so much more than defensive tactics and ground defense. It will make your instructors connect the dots on the "why" they are teaching what they are teaching and provide it in tangible lessons to your staff. Send your coaches. Don't hesitate.
