Swamp Buggy Racing and Sponsor Advertizing
Hello my name is Charity Palmer, owner and Driver of my V-8 Sportsman Class Racing Swamp Buggy named "THUNDER". Powered by a 477 CI Big Block FORD naturally aspirated with one 390 CFM Carb. We compete on an Oval race course called the Mile O' Mud at the Florida Sports Park in Naples, Florida. We have also performed in heads up Drag Race Style side by side on a track that Air-boats run on at Devils Garden Mud Club in Clewiston, Florida.
I've been Racing since March 1992. I have raced in three different classes, 4 cylinder class March and May 1992, then moved up to the 6 cylinder class in October 1992, and October 1996, I moved up to the class I currently run in, the V-8 Sportsman Class. I have taken many 1st place Heat Wins,1st and 2nd place Class wins, a 2nd and 3rd place in the Intermediate Feature, and a Marathon Race.
I have run 6 different motors in my 20 years of Racing. a 153 Chevy Ironduke 4 cyl., a Chevy 292 straight 6, an Olds 350 Rocket, a 403 Olds, a 429 BB Ford, and currently a 460 BB Ford 477 C.I., With the 390 Holley Carb it has 541 HP@ 6000 RPMS, and 546 ft lbs of torque@ 4500 RPMS.

There are various size spaces available to advertize your business Logo on the buggy. Pricing varies on space needed, and we will make appearances with the buggy for any special event you need, Grand Openings, etc, to draw attention and bring in the customers, within a 200 mile radius of Bradenton, Florida. Number or appearances per year to be determined upon advertizing commitment. Our Fiscal year begins October and ends March, but available for events throughout the year. We race 3 times a year at the Naples track.
