Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be the one to have to make my husband's final arrangements. I am so very glad that I made the decision to place my husband into the care of the exceptional folks at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano.  I do not have enough words of gratitude for our funeral director William Ciociola and his assistant, Stephanie. They are both excellent at their jobs. Will made this entire experience seamless and as easy on me as possible. Tough conversations and hard decisions were made much easier. He is such a wonderful person to speak with.  My husband's services were tailored to him and were absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect send off, facilitated by the talented Miss Terry who made sure that the essence of my husband was captured perfectly.  I cannot speak to pricing as I have never been a widow before, but I do feel that I was treated fairly, and everything was very plainly explained upfront in a comprehensive manner.  I will be forever grateful to William, Stephanie and the entire team that took such excellent care of my husband and our family.  Thank you again.

This funeral home took excellent care of my stepfather and his service. My family worked with Will, who was extremely personable and empathetic to us throughout the entire funeral planning process. Will worked hard to make this process easy for us to navigate and answered all of our questions. The funeral home was well organized and they offer round tables instead of pews, which we thought was unique and offered more opportunity for family and friends to meet and gather together. The funeral home also went above and beyond decorating the tables and service area to represent the man that my stepfather was. If I had to recommend a funeral home and coordinator to a grieving family, I would without a doubt recommend Will and his employees at Ted Dickey.

The entire team at Ted Dickey Funeral home was fantastic.  I was assigned to Lacy, one of the Funeral Home Director's and she was amazing!  We were taken care of from the moment we called when we needed them to remove our mom from her home all the way to the day of her Memorial Service.  Lacy, was very caring, attentive, informative, and patient.   She held our hand from beginning to the very end.  She took so much stress off of us during this difficult time. I can't thank her enough.  I highly recommend Ted Dickey Funeral Home.  The entire staff will take care of you and your love ones.

My father passed away in May of 2023 and Kristine and everyone at Ted Dickey Funeral Home were compassionate, responsive, supportive and exemplary in every way.  They handled all the details related to the memorial service and burial.  Even though the burial was handled by another funeral home, Kristine coordinated with those folks flawlessly.  Also, her help with writing the obituary was invaluable.  They made a very difficult and complicated endeavor as stress free as possible.  I couldn't have been more pleased.

Tremendous help and support by Ted Dickey in caring for dad over the last week. Even when an issue developed with urn engraving they stepped up to do the right thing to fix it, taking enormous stress off the family.  So appreciative of William Ciociola and all the team at Ted Dickey helping us through this tough process.  Very responsive and prompt, would definitely recommend them.

From the moment I spoke to them I felt at ease. They made this experience as seamless & comfortable as possible showing the utmost respect for my daddy in his passing. They honored his wishes to pass with dignity and simplicity without any pressure to do anything beyond what he wanted. We are grateful.

Ted Dickey Funeral Home acted with the utmost respect and sincerity for our family when my husband passed away.  Every thing was handled as they said it would be and the end result was a beautiful celebration of my husband's life after he was cremated.  I could not have asked for anything better. The death of a loved one is very hard to deal with. Doug Fry with Ted Dickey's funeral home did make it a much easier experience than we could ever have hoped for. My mother passed away at the end of November. We knew it was inevitable but still comes as a shock. She would need to be flown to Indiana. Doug had everything arranged in less than 24 hours. The funeral director in Indiana was very impressed by the professionalism and sincere sympathy shown by Doug and his team at Ted Dickeys funeral home. I would recommend this group for any and everyone.  Thanks to them all again!
