Visited Teds for lunch on Friday, the restaurant wasn't busy and I got seated straight away. Very little else, no allergies checked, no your waitress will be right over. My server was great, and I ordered a coke zero which she refilled once and gave me a to go cup without me asking when I was done. The food came out quick enough and was pretty good. The Bison short ribs were great, and the broccoli, surprisingly, was also pretty good, but it had really thick stems, so they were a bit tough. I also had onion rings which were ok, they looked a lot better than they tasted, and one of the smaller onion rings was mostly onion amd where the battery had got into the layers it hadn't cooked and was soggy and nasty. Ice cream was good, but tastes suspiciously like the vanilla ice cream from Costco. But hey, it was a good meal, maybe just not the right vibe for me. The atmosphere is a little flat, not bad for a quiet dinner or date night, but I wouldn't call it a family restaurant.
Popped in for supper and even arriving a little in the later side the restaurant was hopping. We asked for and waited for a booth as we don’t enjoy sitting at a table but ended up grabbing a place at the bar. Overall had a good experience. Our bartender was a large part of that. He had made a Jack Daniel’s Carmel milkshake and had a little left over that he let us sample. It was AMAZING. We selected the cranberry gimlet for me and the newly fashioned for Josh. Both drinks were perfectly crafted. If you follow me you know we can’t ever really pass up a wedge salad so that’s what we started with and it didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to mess up a dish with bacon and blue cheese. For the entree we ordered the beef filet with a loaded potato and the chef’s selection side which was Brussel sprouts. My only complaint was we ordered the steak medium and it came out more towards medium rare but overall everything was flavorful and the plate was cleaned. I would recommend grabbing a place at the bar if you don’t want to wait or want a slightly different experience.
Decided to try this place before we went to the movies because we had a hour before it started.. Sadly, service was so slow it took over a hour before we even got our food and we had to cancel the showing. I understand when it gets busy, but it was pretty dead in there. The food was delicious, but service killed the experience.
Good atmosphere and location. We recommend ‘most’ all of their dishes. The green and hot burger is delish. Broccoli and onion rings are both great as sides. The summer strawberry shortcake is light, refreshing and yummy!
Nachos were surprisingly delicious! Newly fashioned cocktail was tasty, worth the 20 minute wait. Bison burger was great! Mac and Cheese was not cheesy enough for my daughter. Overall great experience! I can tell that they are doing the best they can with a limited amount of staff. I truly appreciate Rumela! She was attentive and very pleasant!
Great atmosphere with pleasant but slow service. I assume they were under-staffed like so many places these days. My wife enjoyed her grilled chicken but I didn't love the bison burger on a gluten free bun. Parking: Plenty of parking at the mall, especially in the side lots. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.
This restaurant chain is very inconsistent depending on the location. I've been to several, and this is the 2nd time the experience has been poor. Either they were too short on staff or our waitress was brand new. Everything took a long time even though they weren't busy, and we arrived well before the dinner rush. The food was very good, but either my server put in my order wrong or the kitchen made a mistake. She was too busy to ask, and I was too hungry to wait. I won't be visiting this location again.
Good for eat-in. Not so good for takeout. They don’t put the food under a heat lamp or anything, and it gets really cold sitting on the bar. Plus, the $5.50 kale salad was like two forkfuls. I feel like a side salad for eat-in would’ve been a more appropriate size. This wasn’t much bigger than a ketchup cup.
I gave 4 stars for the food bc the bison sliders were amazing. I also had a salad with salmon. The salmon was good... however they forgot the Avocado. When I inquired they ended up bringing me 4 small cubes. So we arrived around 7, seated within 15 mins. Order the bison burgers and bottle of wine. This took a while to get. Then ordered salads with salmon. Our food took forever. The waiter would disappear. At 9pm we were being rushed to finish our meals. Chairs being pkace on top of tables and cleaning and somewhat rude waiter encouraging us to take out remaining wine. They did comp our salads, which was nice. However, still not a good experience. And the restaurant was not full. Will probably not go back.
10/10! Tonight Patrick was our server and everything was fantastic! We were seated quickly and had wonderful service. We had the salmon and caesar salads, the food is always so fresh! I highly recommend the jalapeno margarita from the bar. Josh and Friday make excellent cocktails. You can’t go wrong at Ted’s. And thanks Abe, one of the managers, for stopping by to check on us.
