This place is huge and the selection in every segment of the beer, wine, spirits departments is amazing. The prices are also very good. They have a bar that serves drinks in the back, and tonight they were hosting a wine tasking ! This place has it all! I had a great time here at Buddy Guys for my birthday! The legend himself even came out in song about 20 minutes and even had two double shots! Awesome time! Highly recommend if you’re in Chicago visit Buddy Guys!

This place has great service, also a bar in the liquor store, where you can taste different alcohols that you have not tried before at a glass or taste price instead of paying for a whole bottle..

A solid selection, and some real gems found here. Update: real rating is 4.5. The crew working here are truly helpful. The wine dedicated people are knowledgeable and give great recommendations. The store has a solid selection of quality wines as well as excellent mid priced quality offerings. The beer selection is excellent along with some hard to find bottles. It's a good spot.

Great whiskey selection! Lots of store-selected single barrel editions. They regularly host wine and beer tasting events. Prices seem average/good, similar to Binny's on the couple bottles I checked. Two years later and it's all still true... plus their wine tasting area has evolved into a full bar! Shelves of liquor, a few beer taps, seating for eight or ten ish, plus a table or two. And they've expanded the size of the "impulse buy" shelves alongside the checkout line, including a LOT of "airplane" bottles and cocktail cherries such as the unparalleled Woodford Reserve.
