We loved our 1 and a 1/2 year stay with them! Service is great and everyone is the sweetest. The location is so close to HEB and lots of food options. Front office has a great mail area and the park is great to walk your dogs. They take good care of the pool and there is also a little gym. There are two laundry rooms that are always clean and coin operated. T mobile is awesome in the area for good internet. I always felt safe! They do a great job watching over the park. We would book again if we are in the area. Check them out!!
Very friendly staff. Made reservations but 2024 Gemini kb was not acceptable, factory’s fault. Was able to cancel easy and quickly. Will try again someday
We stayed 2 weeks. We found the weekly rate to be the most reasonable for the area. There are a lot of Monthly, long term tenants, but many take pride in their lots and keep them really nice. The manager and especially her husband and staff are always a presence and go the extra mile to keep a close eye on anything out of sorts. There is a really nice small fenced in dog park and a REALLY great 1+ acre grassy area in the back of the park to take your dogs out for a little exercise! We also appreciated that they had two laundry rooms, which were never busy! They also had a clubhouse with a pool table and other games as well as a reading and video lending library, a gym and a pool! We will definitely stay again!
Never again. Aggressive grounds keeper, Kelly, mentioned in other reviews on Google and other platforms, made my elderly sister in law so uncomfortable that she made arrangements to stay somewhere else rather than with us at this campground. Also the site we were given was unkept and a mud pit. We're full-time and have never experienced such aggressive behavior from a campground employee. Tejas Valley should be ashamed. However, it's apparent the campground doesn't care. Kelly is mentioned multiple times in reviews across the Internet. A liability for the campground, really. Yet he's still there, speeding around on his cart or truck. If the campground reply disputes this, it's a lie.
We have absolutely loved our stay at this park! We planned on just two days but decided on a full week or more after our experience and the hospitality we've been shown. Beautiful location, great staff, close to everything, fairly priced. We would live here if we could!
We stayed here a month. The park was super quite and everyone was very nice, especially all the grounds workers. Restrooms and bathhouse were clean everyday. Laundry room was clean and the priceas were reasonable. They had a nice little gym that I used. The rower didn't work batteries were dead and it would be nice if they had a small set of weights. The pool was closed but looked nice. We used the clubhouse also and it had alot of things to utilize. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again.
I would have originally given this campground at least a 4. Check in was pleasant, site was nice, etc., but my ending with them has made me so irritated that I feel like future campers need to be aware. Three days before leaving San Antonio we had vehicle trouble with our F350. The local Ford dealer told us it would be 10 days before they could even diagnose the issue and could be two additional weeks for parts depending in the issue. I immediately contacted the campground office and was told not to worry, they weren't busy as spring break was over, just keep them posted. We obtained a rental car and on our scheduled departure date we started our 1100 mile drive home. When the office opened I called to advise we were gone and everything was disconnected except power. Made sure they knew how to contact me if there were issues, etc. This woman had no idea what I was talking about, there was no note on file and she advised that site was reserved in 2 more days. I explained again that our vehicle was unexpectedly in the shop, etc. and she then demanded to know if I was going to pay for the extra days my 5th wheel was on site. Well of course I am going to pay! I never expected to block them from income because of our bad luck. I gave her my credit card number and because we had been told it would be at least another week before diagnostic we agreed she would put another week of charges on my card. Long story short, vehicle was diagnosed and out of shop 48 hours later and my husband flew back to San Antonio to retrieve the truck and 5th wheel. Even giving Tejas Valley an extra day because he didn't leave until 10 PM, there were still 3 days left on reservation. Tejas Valley kept all my money. Gave the terse reply of "not sure we can do that" when asked if they would refund any of the money. So in trying to do the right thing and not create an adverse impact on their business finances, Tejas Valley RV Park took advantage of our misfortune. I could have called them daily and charged by the day but wanted to be 'nice' and ease their minds. Thanks Tejas Valley RV Park for keeping all my money for the extra week. Great job at making a bad situation even worse.
The owners of this property and the people who run this property are amazing they have been so kind and so helpful and more the ways and they know thank you so much for your kindness and your great customer service didnt try rooms.. Walkability: Saw a service member jogging & walking quite a frw times. Seemed to be very content in her wk out.
Clean, quiet place to stay. Very helpfull staff to accomodate and assist in making reservations and setting out our 32ft camper. I will definetly stay again in this park. Thanks. Safety: Safe place to stay, with owners constantly checking and patrolling the site.
