TEK Material & Supply started out as an idea kicked around on a flight from Atlanta to England in March of 2004. Current business owners, Tom Jackson and Karl Hedley, had been working for a major corporation in the automotive supply business for a combined 20 years on this day when they decided it was time to go out on their own. Three months later, TEK Material & Supply was born, a small business specializing in aftermarket shop supplies. First run out of the Hedley garage, we quickly outgrew that space as the customer base expanded across all of metro Atlanta and had to secure warehouse space in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Again, as business grew into other southeastern states, another move was required into an even larger warehouse that we still call home today.
Since that day in 2004, TEK Material & Supply has strove to provide outstanding products and service at the most reasonable prices.
We have serviced accounts from the very small independent shop to the largest dealership so we understand how important it is for all businesses to be able to trust in the products they are purchasing. It is for this reason we buy only from the top manufacturers with reputations based on their expertise in the industry so we can pass this on to you.
In all of our years in business we have learned many things. One of the important lessons learned is that over time trends can change drastically and it was this that spurred the beginning of Elite Tire and Service Supplies, a division of TEK Material & Supply. In order to stay current in an ever-changing industry, we decided to streamline our focus on to tire and service supplies only.
